hi all, I am very concerned right now, so I was hoping someone would be able to answer my questions. It is all over the news right now that after the killing of a high up cartel member, regions of Mexico are in an uproar with extreme cartel violence. The Canadian government has said to limit travel to this area. I am going on a 7 night Mexican cruise on January 13-20. The cities on the itinerary include cabo, puerto vallarta, and mazatlan (one one the cities said to avoid for all non-essential purposes). Will our itinerary be changed? I have not heard anything from Royal yet and am very concerned. The news has said 6 Canadians have already been trapped there, I do not want to go there if that's the case.

Hi, I am going on the Navigator on a Mexican cruise out of long beach. My partner and I are flying in four days early, since snow storms are reallyyyyy bad where we're from this time of year and we don't want to get caught at the airport. We have been looking for some fun things to do in Long Beach, where our hotel is, and wondering if anyone has any recommendations since we'll be there for awhile. Any suggestion for activities, stores, tours, places and food are more than welcome!

Hi all, I had a question regarding an excursion I am hoping to book on my cruise that is coming up in a couple weeks on the Navigator. My bf and I are stopping in Cabo for one of our ports, and I saw an 4x4 adventure excursion which would be something we are both very interested in. The concern I have though is the me an my bf are only a group of two and the cover picture for the excursion show a four person Polaris vehicle. We are not very interested in going with another group lol. Nowhere does the post say it will be in groups of four, but it also does not say we will be in groups of two. I'll attach photos of the excursion posting and maybe someone can help me out! Thanks!

Hi, I had some questions about the coffee on RC ships, specifically the Navigator. I have the DBP and want to get the most use out of it by also buying some coffee at the cafe. I know the ships have Starbucks, but i dont want to be paying for that when I've purchased the DBP. Though, I am kind of picky when it comes to coffee. So, i was wondering is it good for the cafe? Do they have ice coffee and things like flavour shots or milk alternatives like oat milk?

On my last cruise me and my partner got the DBP that was coupled with the surf+stream wifi, and we enjoyed it. We have paid for it again for our upcoming cruise and the price comes to about $2000.00CAD for both of us to have the DBP and the surf+stream for a 7 night cruise. I know that sounds ridiculous, but you need to think about how much use you will get out of it. My and my boyfriend are both in our early 20's, thus we like to drink and can drink because we are still young lol. We also use our phones lots for things like school, and talking to our parents who we both still live with, or even watching our Netflix shows together. We get good use out of it especially if you consider that the average price of a cocktail with gratuity on board is about $23CAD. Not to mention the convivence of being able to walk up to any bar or have an extra glass of wine at dinner and not worry about cost is nice.

I prefer the WJ for breakfast. The main difference is the WJ has more selection than the MDR, as well as you don't feel weird asking for another plate in the WJ. My partner is a big guy who eats lots, so its always good to start the day in the WJ so he can get his 3 or 4 plates and start the day off full

Hey, My boyfriend and I are taking this as our second RC cruise together! I can't wait! I absolutely love Cabo, such an amazing port. Though, we are also confused about the excursions. It's sad that they don't have many up we were really looking forward to doing some of them.

Hey, I have a question that I was hoping someone could answer. I was wondering if anyone has ever gotten a free upgrade from Royal Caribbean. See, I know this sounds weird because nothing in life is free, but me and my boyfriend are going on our second Royal Caribbean cruise together and since we are still young in our early 20’s we booked the cheapest room possible. We booked a guaranteed interior room, hence an interior room and they can put us wherever they want. Though, just yesterday I received our cruise documents that had our room number on it. I looked up the room on Royal Caribbeans deck plans for our ship, Navigator of the Seas, and our room is a Promenade View Interior, which is an upgrade from regular interior. We had no other charges put through our cards, and I know it is not based on a RoyalUp bid because RoyalUp sent me an email stating “the changes in my reservation have allowed me to bid on more rooms, and my previous bids have all been cancelled”. So, my question is has this happened to anyone else? Do I question it? Is it just luck?
