We are booked on this cruise. Originally it was a nine night but with lift and shift it became eleven for the same price. 
‘NZ will be opening to Australians from April 12th and the rest of the world soon after so things are looking positive.

What will be interesting will be when Perfect Day at Lelepa opens as it does not make sense to me to invest all that money and only have a couple of ships visit maybe a couple of times a week for 6 months. I would have thought at that point you would want at least one ship year round to make it viable. Maybe then we can get Oasis of the Seas as it is the oldest ship and the U.S will get Oasis 6.

Oh I missed that announcement about Allure, pity I am ready to try an Oasis class ship without having to go to the U.S
I would be happy to go out of Auckland on Enchantment although apart from the odd P&O ship we don't really get many departures out of Auckland like we used to.

If Kristiz’s advice does not work I recommend taking your laptop down to the Voom team. They will sort it out for you promptly. I have always found them to be very helpful.

Hi, Yep no cruising and vaccine passports in use at the moment. No omicron in NZ yet but that will be here within the coming weeks I am sure. Hopefully the beginning of the end of restrictions and we just learn to live with it.
I definitely agree about the GS on Quantum ships, I can see what the concept was when they put the wall in to separate the bed from the living space but it just makes the whole room feel so claustrophobic compared to the non-quantum ships even though the square footage is not that different.
We have booked the Royal Loft Suite on Quantum next year to try something new, I don't think space will be an issue with this cabin 😀, just have to hope the cruise will go ahead next April.
We are also keen to book the Crystal Endeavor to the Antarctica some time in the next couple of years to experience a once in a lifetime holiday.
 

We have booked both Junior Suites and Grand Suites on Explorer and Voyager. Last time we were on Explorer the suite lounge was on deck 10 tucked away with with no windows so unless you really want a cabin with a little bit more room and a bigger bathroom I would stick with the JS. Otherwise you are paying quite a lot extra for access to a lounge and concierge which the primary amenity for GS and above. It would be cheaper to buy the unlimited drinks package than effectively pay for lounge access.
Oh I do also remember you get access to Chops for breakfast in a GS if you don’t want to face the masses in Windjammer.

To be fair even if somebody knew your booking number they would not be able to cancel you cruise without other information like your name, sail date, ship etc which very is unlikely unless you provided to them.

It was JUST accepted. We sail in two days. Junior Suite from OV balcony GTY!!!!

That has always been my experience. One thing I have also found to my cost once in the past was the headline price was cheaper for the dining package so I cancelled my existing booking, only to find that when I rebooked the headline price did not include gratuities and in fact the total cost was more.
 

I have had this issue in the past when I booked directly with Royal so I contacted them and they reapplied the OBC. As you used a Travel Agent I would contact them first and ask them to resolve with Royal.

My suggestion would be to book one of cruises scheduled out of Sydney in December 2021 (The new short itineraries) using the FCC as given the COVID situation it will likely be cancelled by Royal and then you will be eligible for a cash refund. In the unlikely event the cruise does go ahead you can cancel up to 2 days before hand using 5he cruise with confidence policy and get a new FCC which will have a new expiry date.

It's hard to say it like this.  Worst cruise I have been on (even worst than the one where I hid from my MIL for 3 days by staying in my cabin ?) ....but I mean...it was still a nice cruise....but could have been better...I suppose people will say "it is the best of a bad situation" and I suppose that's relatively accurate.
It was a royal pain in the posterior having to swap mask on and off, go to some shows and you could take it off, then the next day, you can't take it off.  I traveled with a 10 yr old, so kept getting kicked out of places we settled for live music or an activity.  The only thing that was consistent...was the casino was jumping.  Mostly I bet because it was the only place you could consistently relax mask free.
Ship was only about 1/3 full, so most places felt empty and actually a little sad at times.  Pool deck was also jumping (because you could be mask free).  Windjammer was straight forward, stick you plate out, they put food on it....you ask for more because you wanted 2 pieces and you get a dirty look (so typical) and we only went there once for a light snack. ?
Honestly If Royal had announced just 2 days earlier the whole "Everyone now has to wear a mask" I would have cancelled, but with the amount of notice given, everything was already in motion for the trip....kennels, PTO, testing.....so we sucked it up.  And Royal I bet knew that most people would end with the same conclusion.
The real highlight though was having Air2sea booked 5 first class seats get 'over sold' and have to fly out and back without 'checked in' prior to arriving at airport and standing around in lines to get seat assignments. 
Testing Antigen 2nd round to fly back was a cluster IMO.  They put a QR code in the stateroom, I accessed it, went to a page, it asked me a couple questions and asked how many people in my party....and then said you have an appointment.  So go to the appointment and the people running it are like "You need to download this QR code and app on each person's phone and setup 5 different appointments"...I"m like "i have one phone, one internet package and 3 kids....."....so they huffed/puffed and set it all up while we stood there and ultimately got testing.
Then they email the results.  I wasn't permitted use my yahoo.com email address that everything royal goes to that I can easily access from my phone.  NO I have to use a real domain based email per 'policy'.  Which is something that I can't readily access from my phone for security reasons (and then they didn't say "oh we will send print outs to your room") so I had to stress about that for several hours while trying to hack my personal email account from a cell phone on the worlds WORST internet only to then find out "ohh yeah, we will send the results to your room"
Obviously it all worked out....but the process could have been a lot smoother considering they have been doing it a little while now.

I recently booked an Australian cruise directly with RCI and received the survey.

Got our cancellation email this morning for the QN HNL/YVR.  I expect for the other legs on OV (NZ/TP) to be cancelled soon, too.  Oh well, more money back in my pocket.

We are booked on Quantum for 2023, I hope things are nearly back to normal by then otherwise we will be in trouble.
