  1. Make it the 5K* Pub Crawl. Not sure how many stops are typically planned. If it happens to be five, naming is perfect. *Kraken
  2. Been trying to come up with unique ideas. Will say the comment about how bar crawls shrink as the progress is very true. Participated in one back in May. By the end maybe a quarter still remained (survived).
  3. With Quantum being a ship out of the Asain market I could see some streamlining of naming conventions. Even if all the amenities don't exist completely between the two.
  4. Diet Sprite (canned). Don't recall seeing diet tonic. I've done vodka and Coke Zero (canned) with the Deluxe package. Sprite Zero is normally available at any bar, Coke Zero can be hard to find.
  5. Sure, black and white in the holders would be fine. Will be doing the standard LIVEish for Majesty. Also might want to read Matt's Live Blog as well. Back on the subject of Staples. Their website has a feature to upload a document and create a print job. https://documents.staples.com Don't have access to a computer where I could create a graphical walk thru of the process.
  6. Having them in color doesn't matter. To have Staples print them, just save the tag file on a thumb/flash drive.
  7. Hey another Tally person! If the paper sstraws used onboard are the same as Ted's, no see much of an issue. I will admit they get soggy and start to soften after around 30 minutes in a drink. If a soggy straw is of concern, ask for a second wrapped for later use. From what I recalled, and this was along time ago, most lightweight plastic and paper is incinerated onboard. Metal, glass, and cardboard was really the only stuff offloaded to be recycled. As mentioned this was something I recall hearing years ago.
  8. Normally on the major holidays they increase the price of the speciality venues and have a special menu. As a result you can only book once onboard.
  9. Also to add it is $7.95 per order. No matter how much is ordered. Whether it is one plate of cookies or the entire menu. The charge is the same. Only thing I'm not 100% positive on is if an 18% gratuity is charged on top of the $7.95.
  10. Hard choice between 1st and 2nd gen Oasis. The decor on 2nd gen is better. But I'll take the Champagne Bar on 1st gen over the Bionic bar any day. Slides aren't a factor in the way of pro or con, so that has no weight. Pinky up world, I like the location of the bar in the Suite Lounge on 1st gen better. However, where the hors d'oeuvre and espresso machine gets the nod on 2nd gen. Diamond Lounge location is more ideal on 1st gen. World of hunch with 1st gen dry dock: Champagne Bar will become Bionic Bar. Slides will be added. Diamond Lounge relocated/Wonderland added. Minor changes to decor, doubt all guest rooms will be redone. Guess ultimately it would be 1st gen Oasis class. Unless major changes happen during the dry dock.
  11. Reading the terms it says every 4 years. Travel coverage is intriguing, that might be worth part of the fee as well. Only catch looks like the entire trip would have to charged on that card. Challenge is just swallowing the $450 fee mentally.
  12. Maybe it is something weird due to it being a cruisetour. Can't really give any input from my journey 4 years ago. Don't think the Cruise Planner was around back then.
  13. Forgot about those two... Chops has some "adult" coffee selections and cocktails. Jamie's has some special drinks, not sure about Giovanni's. Just not sure if you could stop by and get just a drink.
  14. Don't recall seeing any special drinks in Anthem's Wonderland. At the same time there is no bar. From what I recall 270 does have some special drinks.
  15. On Harmony and Symphony Wonderland has a bar with signature drinks. Think Hooked on Symphony does as well. Both you can just drink at.
  16. Also make sure you head to the bar inside of Sabor. Not the one outside of it. Personally think one of the dumbest moves was renaming the Carousel Bar to Sabor Bar.
  17. Think you said it best. Felt Anthem had a lot of large spaces with tight means to get to them. Compound that with not having the factor of the Promenade. The Esplanade just isn't the same WOW factor as the Promenade. Overall the Freedom class felt more open than Anthem did.
  18. Wondering if it isn't a UK/Southampton thing. Other thought is it could be a response after that piece on the Vision charter. Mariner March GC 3 day still has the Deluxe listed. Same thing with 3 day bookings I have in October. (all are $60 [10% off])
  19. The biggest benefit is MEI supports this site.
  20. Agree 100% with every word! Loved the land tour.
  21. In the case of my booking on Symphony. It was made the day bookings were released by Royal (and booked direct with Royal) and would guess about a week or so before @Matt made it a group cruise. When I reached out to @Matt he reached out to @AnnetteJackson who put me in touch with Stephanie to start the transfer process. So in my case the GC booking I have is with Stephanie. So in your case I would assume Heather would retain the booking and it would be added to the group if it became a GC. I'm sure if any of this is bad info the proper parties will chime in...
  22. I've had the site do the same thing. Waited about 15 mins and tried again and it worked.
  23. Just remember, sailing Alaska isn't like the Caribbean. Most of the journey you'll be in the inside passage areas where land will be on both side of the ship. When I did Alaska it was southbound as well. I was on starboard as well. To this day I still don't feel I missed a thing. Another thought sun sets in the west, on a southbound that would be starboard... Low quality video:
  24. Best I've seen as of late is $47 +18% gratuity. Discount wise it is the claimed "Buy one, get one 50% off". Don't recall the last time I've seen the 30% off promotion ($43-44 range).
