Thank you for this post @Amanda92. My wife needs to eat gluten free and the amount of effort the staff puts into accommodating her dining needs is top-notch.
Recently on Odyssey, the effort was ramped up even more than on previous cruises. They did a great job modifying just about everything. (Especially, the apple pie a la mode!)
We agree about the pizza at Sorrento's. Unless you ask for it to be baked a little longer, it tends to be underdone.
I can't tell you how much stressed is eased off of her mind by not having to worry about mistakenly being served glutenous items and by knowing she is going to be able to eat delicious, well prepared foods throughout our vacation.
One note about Odyssey (and possibly other Quantum ships): The Café Two70 staff were terrific about gluten free options! We visited for breakfast on our first morning and a staff member assisted with preparing her breakfast sandwich with a gluten-free bagel (Udi's). This staff member (Rohman) and another (Emmanbien) obviously made mental notes of this because for the remainder of the cruise, whenever we would enter Two70, one of them would seemingly appear out of nowhere right next to her to personally ask her would she would like to have! 😆 Fantastic!

We book Guaranteed cabins on cruises when we absolutely do not care where our cabin is.  When we want a specific location, we choose our own cabin.  Booking this way ensures we don’t have buyers remorse.  If you have any concerns where your cabin might be, avoid a Guarantee.
We’ve found a couple ways to choose our cabin and pay the same (or less) than the guaranteed price.
First, every time we’ve booked onboard at Next Cruise, we’ve been able to choose our cabin for the same price shown online for a guarantee.
Second, on every cruise we’ve booked far out (think 2 years), the choose your own cabin has been cheaper than the guarantee price.   We have a couple cruises in late 2023 and early 2024 that we were able to book aft balconies on cheaper than letting Royal choose for us.
I don’t claim these two ways to be absolute.  Other factors come in to play…C&A discount, military discount, etc.  In addition, we don’t book suites, so I am not sure if the same works for them either.

An interesting thing we’ve found when booking so far out is the prices have never dropped no matter how many times we’ve made mock bookings to check.  I believe we first learned about this on one of Matt’s podcasts, and it’s held true.

A "Guaranteed" (GTY) booking is the same this as letting "Royal Caribbean allocate" your room. You are guaranteed a room that is at least the cabin class that you have selected and the cruise line chooses what room you will get.
(You may possibly even get a better room depending on availability. i.e. Score a balcony room even though your GTY booking was for an interior or ocean view cabin.)
By Guaranteed, do you possibly mean you have chosen the room and are, therefore, "guaranteed" to have the room you have selected?
Anyway, I'm much in the same camp on this as @Traveling Mike is. If I can save a good deal of money that I can spend on other cruise vacation items (Drinks, Dining, Excursions, etc.) by booking GTY or with lesser cabin class, I will go that in a heartbeat! Just get me on the ship!

I'm afraid not. You have to present the original at the port. You will need to get a replacement.
Knowing that we would need to travel with these for the foreseeable future, I purchased these Passport/Vax Card holders so that we always know where our vax cards are AND to protect them from being damaged. Who thought these flimsy pieces of paper with VERY IMPORTANT information on them was a good idea?

Deck 15, Starboard side Forward corner of the Sea Plex. Aside from the App, you can also book at a service desk next to Zone Zero.
Keep in mind that Times and Dates become available throughout the cruise, so it may be best to keep checking back on the app for availability.
We wanted to book at the desk on Day 2, but no slots were available. The crew member at the desk give us the tip to keep checking the app because more slots would become available and that they fill up fast.

This is correct. Honestly, I actually preferred how disembarkation has been handled most recently; You just wait in your cabin until your group number is called.
We went to Two70 Café, grabbed some breakfast and one last specialty coffee and ate on our balcony before it was time to leave. It was much less hectic than gathering a large group of people somewhere else on the ship and then crowding them out to the gangway when the number was called.

Correct. Due to available shuttle times from our hotel being either too early or too late for our liking, we opted for the early shuttle time.
We were required to wait about 45 minutes at the terminal before entering. (Longest 45 minutes of my life! 😆) Late arrivals can proceed to the line leading inside)
FYI: @Snowchaser The app allows you update your arrival time (later or earlier) if time slots are available!

Check-in should open up at Midnight Eastern time. A couple of other things though.
    1. If you do want to get an early arrival time as soon as check-in opens, you only need to select an available check-in time. You can return later to complete the rest of check-in. (When you are more awake and/or caffeinated!)
    2. The earliest check-in times may become available at a later date. For example, on the day of check-in for our last cruise, the earliest time available was 12:00-12:30pm. A week later, 11:00-11:30am became available.
The good news is that you can always edit your check-in time to get an earlier time (or later, if need be), so feel free to keep checking back.
(BTW, I kept checking back and I'm still trying to figure out how some other people got 10:00 and 10:30 check-in times!)
