  1. We look at weather as a fact of life.  Having lived in Florida and now moving back there you just go with the flow.  Mother nature is very unpredictable.  The ship will reroute  and off you go. Do as the others have said for where to turn for forecasts.  They can barely predict 2-3 days out. Heaven forbid 10 or more days out. Like the song says: Don`t Worry Be Happy. And pack Bonnine or Dramamine.

  2. Like they say there`s one in every crowd.  Never seen it happen.  If you want to see some aggressive people just go to the shopping seminar.  That is almost as entertaining as watching the Walmartin`s.  My most memorable aggressive experience on a cruise was 4 years in the casino.  This guy was at the machine for quite a spell.  He got upset and threw the chair over  and walked off. Yous truly sat down and 3rd pull I won $300.00.  Cashed out and called it a night.  Went back to the room and the wife said I thought you were going to the casino.  I said i did and won $300.  Nightie  night.

  3. Cancel the KEY and save your money.  You will be dollars ahead.  Your luggage has to be checked so it can go thru the scanners.  You don`t want to be dragging around a bunch of suitcases.  Carry on`s sure.   Everyone is embarking at the same time.    I.E.   Suites, Key, Platinum, Diamond Plus, Diamond, General Public and so forth.   make sure all your documents are in order.  Matt just did a podcast the other day and the Key was mentioned not to get it.

  4. Living in Tennessee I could bring Jack Daniels or store Moonshine or real Moonshine.  Then again I will keep the real.  We know how over worked and under paid they are and give them a gratuity at the start and at the end plus the prepaid gratuities.  It pays off in respect as to how well we have been taken care of during our cruises.  When you hear some of the stories that we have heard over the years you know that they are truthful and sad.  We are so fortunate living in this country compared to the rest of the world.

  5. We do next cruise on every cruise. Then we watch to see if fares go down.  We have found next cruise to be the way to go. Destination, cabin selection, ship selection, itinerary.  And they have direct access to blocked rooms and sometimes just released dates and itineraries. OBC is nice and then our TA gets us perks as well.  An all around win win.

Yeah...since I dry everything on low at home, I’m figuring we won’t send much out.  My xs daughters clothes would disappear!  Jane

Ever since a cruise a few years back we used the laundry service and my Jockey briefs came back bikini size.  Almost had to go commando.  Now its microfiber and hung on the line on cruises.  Hurrah for magnets and long clothes line.  "NOTE" Take down so you don`t decapitate the room steward or yourself as you run to the door to hear announcements. Been there did that.  HAHA

  7. Got an offer for Anthem on Sept. 12 2 weeks ago.  Not going to bother as no balcony or suites are available and that was per phone calls to RC and our TA.  Already in a balcony and won`t get double points so not worth the effort or the money.  Leaves money in the pocket for dinners, drinks, and casino.  And the heart break of a dear John letter.

  8. We arrive at 10:30 a.m. . Everything is checked but a backpack and a small carry on. And away we go.  Royal does not enforce boarding times ever.  Nothing like getting on board and making various reservations and checking on MDR table.  Eating lunch by noon before the crowds arrive.  The early bird gets the worm.
