This big, burly dude will definitely be a little teary-eyed in Nov, but it'll be because of some dust in the air! I wonder if I can distantly hug every crew member within a week.

I was sitting here asking myself why am I watching, but I am sooooo jonesin' for a cruise. She is such a beautiful ship. God willin' and the creek don't rise, we'll be on her in 97 days. If that falls through, then, well, we have 188 days until we sail. But it will have been 2 years if we get to go in November, so that is my goal!

I was reading Matt's excellent article on the front page about health protocols and came across the distancing part. I mean, it's obvious that we are all going to have to adhere to that as much as possible, even on a cruise ship. However - I'd like to see security enforce that policy when they put all those racks of discounted t-shirts out on the promenade! ?

Our next sailing is 11/29, which I re-booked due to our April cruise cancellation. I'm so desperate to sail again, but now I'm really losing my elan for it. Most people fully expect all of November and probably December to be postponed, so I'm just not in a hurry to buy any of my cruise planner or non-RC excursions. I guess I'm just "cruise depressed".

It's a great place. We went in Nov '18 and it was super nice. We're also going on our 11/29 cruise - and don't anyone tell me that it's gonna be cancelled, cause that ain't happnin'

I get away and 100% relax. I get away from my house, my job, politics, having to feed the animals, driving....yadayadayada... And one thing that has always stood out for me - the crew members treat me like I'm somebody, which is so rare these days. They are unfailingly courteous, friendly, and respectful - as I am to them. I've only been on 4 so far, but I'm as hooked as I can be - I would cruise right now at 11:30 on Friday night in the middle of a pandemic if I could. Just love it.

NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!!! If my 11/29 cruise is cancelled, just take me out back and hit me in the back of the head with a shovel. I'll dig the hole.

I just checked both of my upcoming Harmony cruises, and they are both higher than what I have. Also, the drink package has gone back to crazy. It'll be better around Labour Day

The F-4 was an awesome platform! We had 'em at Ramstein there at my first duty station. Although I probably complained nearly every day, I loved the AF and kick myself daily for getting out before retirement. Dumbest move of my life. Thank you all for your service, and also to your spouses; Lord knows it's harder on them than us.

Just got my notification from MEI that Stephanie is no longer with them. My new TA is Beth Dickerson. I'm not familiar with her name, but look forward to our future dealings.

Please - no need to apologize. This mess is affecting you guys a LOT more than us. Thank you for everything you've done for so many cruisers over these years. I just hate that y'all are having to change your entire livelihood due to this damn virus.

I haven't heard from Stephanie in a while, as well. I had just put it down as she was super busy, so I'm very sad to hear it. Of course, I would have preferred to not find out about it via this medium, but it is what it is. I think we all were worried that this freaking virus was going to impact the entire TA industry, we just didn't know exactly how and we didn't want to say it out loud. I hope for the very best, not just for the MEI folks, but all of the travel industry.

Okay, I'm head-spacing or something. Where do you put those qualifiers in? I've been trying to book a room and add in my military (watch it, rjac, the AF is real military) but I can't find the place where you put all of that stuff in. I know I've done it before. Do I have to go past putting in our names and info before I get to that page? I have two scheduled sailings (Nov and Feb) but they are quite high compared to when I booked them. Just trying to find a better deal, especially for the Feb cruise - it's really high.

We were one of the "lucky" ones to have gotten the $18 glitch price for our April 26 Harmony cruise. I get it - "we were good enough to own up to our mistake, so y'all can keep it" - but we never got to, right? How magnanimous would it be of RC if they compromised and said - okay, how about we give you a nice little discount (but not the crazy $18) and go with $36/day? It sure would take the sting out of losing that carrot. Just drink for thought.

Just looked and am getting the same notice for my Nov and Feb cruises on Harmony.

Steph didn't save me $980 today, but she can feel free to any time she wants!! ?
