On Liberty currently on a 5 night Bermuda cruise.

We've had Welcome Aboard, French (formal), Taste of the USA, Caribbean and tomorrow is Italian.

I thought the Lobster Mac was really good (my 10 year old ordered it...she inhaled it. I'm surprised I got a taste). Caribbean night was meh.

    Thank you so much!

    Maple Bourbon Salmon

Honey Fried Chicken (I was disappointed with this. It was more like a beer battered coating, bland at that, then what I expected with traditional friend chicken)

    Burger

    Lobster Mac and Cheese (tasty)

    Vegan Jambalaya

    Some fish curry dish

    Thank you so much!

Interesting entrees. I would've thought the the turkey dinner would fit better with that menu rather than the Bon Voyage menu.

If it is a sailing less than 7nights there is no Bon voyage, and depending on ports Mexico might not be included.

For Liberty's 5n sailings, it will be: Welcome aboard, taste of France, taste of USA, taste of Caribbean, and taste of Italy.

What is the "Taste of USA"? I can't find a menu online anywhere!

Well… seems like I needed to make a reservation before now because it’s sold out. So I guess the lot at the port it is. Still looking for info if anyone has parked there. I have a cruise booked in Oct and another in December so I’ll try it out then I guess. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Where is that lot located?...and do they have a shuttle? Also, what is the lot contact info? I may just call...I have to pay for 2 cars for my trip!

Has anyone parked at 69 Hook RD when going on a cruise out of Bayonne? I typically  park in the garage at the port but doing a back to back tomorrow (9 total nights) and 69 Hook RD is HALF the price so we were thinking about giving it a shot. Would save us $135 on parking for the 9 nights.
    thanks!!

Keep us updated! I'd be interested in doing this in 2 weeks.

  6. We sailed atleast 7 years ago from Baltimore as we live only 3 1/2 hours from there. I remember embarkation was super smooth...and parking was a breeze. 1 thing that I will NEVER forget...was traveling down the Chesapeake! I remember eating dinner in the MDR hours after depating the port...and still seeing land! It was soooo different and lovely!

  7. In the past, I was always able to price adjust until final payment.

Today, I tried to book an additional cabin. I previously booked 3 cabins for Oasis of the Seas June 30th. I need an additional cabin for more guest that we are traveling with. Not only has the price for a cabin doubled...but in the process of walking through the new booking, It says that I will have 48 hours to adjust the price for onboard credit only. I never heard of this. It used to be "you can keep adjusting until final payment, and anything after that is Onboard credit."

Is this the new policy? I'm guessing the price will at sometime drop in the next month.

Also true. Speaking for casinos in general, one common "trick" back in the day when comps/rewards were given without super specific calculations in a computer was to bet larger than normal when you sat down and the pit boss would typically record your first bet. A $25 bettor might bet $50 or $75, for example, in the hopes of being tracked at that level, then go back to his actual $25.

    That's a great tip!

  9. I just got back from Montreal 3 weeks ago, and didn't  change money. Unfortunately, if you pay with US dollars...you are still paying Canadian prices and you lose about 30% like a previous poster stated! For instance, if something cost $20 Canadian dollars, and give them $20 US dollars...they don't give you change. Technically, they should give you about $5-$6 dollars back. Use a credit card whenever possible! The bank does a great job converting it with small fees like $ .65 each transaction. Your basically buying things with your CC, and when you get your bill it's lower than anticipated!
