  1. I did that when I went to Paris! Was not a good outcome! LOL
  2. I've stayed at Country Inn Suites and the Radisson. All the popular restaurants are at THE Cove. a short uber ride away!
  3. I have traveled on the anthem during the winter months from NJ. Embarkation day and day2 were cold, but we awoke on Day 3 to warm weather. It was fantastic! Furthermore, it gave us the opportunity to do all the indoor activities and shows for the 1st -2 days that were sometimes overlooked when you're spending most of your time outdoors on deck. Also, New York is great any time of year!!!
  4. I think I've read that its opening at the end of December. I will be docking at Nassau Dec 4th...what are the chances that Royal will do a soft opening?
  5. In May, we stayed at the Yve Hotel on Biscayne. It was reasonably priced and across the street from Bayside...which has tons of shopping, restaurants, and shopping. There is a CVS 15 feet away. We picked up 2 bottles of wine to take on the cruise. Also, the uber fare was like $7 to get to the pier/
  6. We had one of those rooms 2 years ago. I especially liked not only having a table and two chairs to have breakfast, but also lounge chairs to take a quick nap.
  7. I wouldn't mind West Side Story!...Or Even The Sound of Music.
  8. You're right on the money with that cost pretty much any time of the day. Another option...Take the PATH train into NJ, then take a LYFT the rest of the way.
  9. It really depends on what you want in a hotel. If you strictly want to be near the port for embarkation, then stay at either the Sheraton Puerto Rico casino & Hotel or the Aloft. If you want to take in the sites of Old San Juan...then the Sheraton Old San Juan or Hotel El Convento. If you want to be near great beaches...then stay at the Water Club in Isla Verde.
  10. Another idea!...Take that Beer garden and set it up on The Boardwalk where Johnny Rockets is! Sell oversized pretzels and steins!
  11. Congrats! Good win!
  12. What about tranforming a central park into a Tuscan winery. Or even a Bavarian beer garden!
  13. Being a Diamond member, I have bid on 4 cruises. Freedom of the Seas April 2022-Low bid from Balcony to Jr Suite rejected, Oasis of the Seas June 2022- Low Balcony to a Jr Suite rejected. Oasis of the Seas Aug. 2023- Multiple low bids on 4 cabins ranging from Interior to balcony all rejected. Freedom of the Seas May 2024- Finally an accepted bid! Promenade to a Panoramic View. Low bid of $100/person. Ironically enough...this is the only one that was a casino comp!
  14. Thank you so much!
  15. I think I'll eat at Chops that night or pay for the surf and turf!
  16. Thank you so much! Interesting entrees. I would've thought the the turkey dinner would fit better with that menu rather than the Bon Voyage menu.
  17. What is the "Taste of USA"? I can't find a menu online anywhere!
  18. Which menus were featured...and in what order?
  19. Where is that lot located?...and do they have a shuttle? Also, what is the lot contact info? I may just call...I have to pay for 2 cars for my trip!
  20. I used Cortrans a few years ago. I jumped on the shuttle right where the Disney Magical express were. At the time it was $25 each way. I think it may have gone up tp $30.
  21. Keep us updated! I'd be interested in doing this in 2 weeks.
  22. Last Aug., our check in time was 10AM(the earliest slot). The lot opened for parking at 9:45AM. This year, the earliest check in is 1O:30. I'm assuming the lot will still open at 9:45 because most people would have disembarked by then.
  23. We sailed atleast 7 years ago from Baltimore as we live only 3 1/2 hours from there. I remember embarkation was super smooth...and parking was a breeze. 1 thing that I will NEVER forget...was traveling down the Chesapeake! I remember eating dinner in the MDR hours after depating the port...and still seeing land! It was soooo different and lovely!
  24. I prefer morning! I don't want to look at a subpar made up bed by moi.
  25. I claimed my OBC through Bank of America on their site. It asked for my booking number and credentials. The OBC showed up 3 days later.
