JennaRCB got a reaction from ChrisM in Swimming Pigs at Perfect Day
I would not recommend this excursion over spending time on the island! I'm pretty sure the pigs are treated well BUT I don't really agree with animal tourism like this. I think it's better to just spend the day doing other activities at CocoCay, and if I were going to spend extra $ on an excursion I would do the Coco Beach Club or Thrill Waterpark over the swimming pigs tour.

JennaRCB got a reaction from TessFromFlorida in Mykonos Beach?
I walked to two beaches: Paralia Megali Ammos and Paralia Choras Mikonou. The first is definitely a nicer beach as Paralia Choras Mikonou is in the harbor near all the shopping, restaurants, etc. There weren't any services aside from a beach club (that I noticed anyway) at Paralia Megali Ammos, but it was a nice, easy walk from port and the beach was pretty!
There was a super quick (300 feet?) section of the road that was not on a sidewalk on the way to the beach FYI.
I wrote a live blog from my day in Mykonos: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2022/06/29/rhapsody-of-the-seas-live-blog-day-2-mykonos-greece
It was an amazing port day!! Have fun, I'm jealous! 🙂

JennaRCB got a reaction from Andy Arenson in Vegetarian Options - Chops, Giovanni's, Izumi
Izumi and Giovanni's are easy for vegetarian options. I always get tofu udon noodles at Izumi or vegetable fried rice. They are both super good! I prefer the udon noodles as it is more of a full meal.
Chops isn't the best restaurant for vegetarians, but all the sides and some appetizers are vegetarian. I would suggest getting a goat cheese salad for the main instead of for an appetizer (it's amazing) and having one of the soups (butternut squash or mushroom) for the appetizer.

JennaRCB got a reaction from FireFishII in White Pass Scenic RailWay Skagway!
I would do the 8AM so you can relax after the excursion, walk around town, get lunch, etc. If you do the 12PM one but want to walk around town in the morning, you'll spend the whole morning checking your watch to make sure you don't miss the train.

JennaRCB got a reaction from CoopCEA-Dad in Mayan ruins tour???
I would go to Chacchoben ruins in Costa Maya and make Cozumel a beach day. I visited the Tulum ruins when I was in Cozumel, but I thought the ferry ride over was terrible (many people were puking). The ruins in Costa Maya just require a 1 hour bus ride each way and are still really impressive!

JennaRCB reacted to SPS in Royal Up Options
If you choose to bid on a Royal Up, you may have to option to bid on several categories of Stateroom on the same webpage; Oceanview, Spacious Oceanview, Balcony, Obstructed View Balcony, Suites, etc.
If a cabin in one of your chosen categories is available and your bid is "right", only one of the bids will be accepted.

JennaRCB got a reaction from cdixon22 in Nassau Day Pass experience?
There are a few good ones from Resort for a Day.
I recently did the one at the Warwick and it was nice. I liked that it was all-inclusive as opposed to having a limited food and beverage credit. The only downside is that the resort is located on the harbor side of Paradise Island instead of the ocean side, but it was still really pretty and had a nice pool.
I also accidentally ended up at RIU Palace for a few minutes (another day pass resort) while trying to escape a sudden downpour at the beach. I was totally not supposed to be there without a day pass and left quickly, but it looked super nice and is located on Cabbage Beach, one of the best beaches in Nassau.
The Pearl Island cabanas look great, too, so that would also be a good option. I'm headed to Pearl Island in April to check it out, although not in a cabana.
We have a few reviews on day passes:
