Whoops wrong deck. Trying to go off memory. I knew it was low. Don’t remember the windows as it was dark just like the picture you linked. And almost as empty.

We were on Odyssey in March and the DL was dead. Maybe saw 2 people in it. I believe 5 deck no windows. Unless to use the concierge, not much to visit imho. But we got to say we did visit it.

Is there any fee to change room on same sailing?
Templecruiser replied to Templecruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Whoops, meant Crown loft, but still Sky class room. I’m more moving down in room and they would get well over $10k for my room as it’s the lowest level 1 bedroom with largest deck. -
I have a 1 BR ATS reservation for our Dec. cruise on Harmony. We got this suite because my daughter’s family was also going with 3 young ones. So we could watch the shows and the kids could play or nap while watching. They are no longer going now so we would like to go to a Sky loft suite. We booked in Dec of 21 and got our room at just over $7k for 8 day cruise and the sky suite then was a couple hundred cheaper. Well now the sky are over $10k (ATS are all booked) so would I have to come up with $3k to in reality step down in a room according to RCL pricing when I originally booked?

Both my wife and I are laminated and no problem for 2 cruises.

Harmony Grand Suite or Wonder Balcony?
Templecruiser replied to irishcommando's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Suite all day long. What you get for benefits out weighs the little extra Wonder gives. You’ll appreciate the Much larger room over a balcony especially with 4 in a room. Then the kids will get there own Wi-Fi I’m sure they’ll use. Then if a royal up is available, try for a 2 bedroom GS. -
Drink a lot more.

Most formals will be on sea days, so that can give a basic ideal. And it usually never the first or last day either. So that should narrow it down.

Call the crown and anchor desk. You should have 16 points. 1-800-526-9723

I do this for a living, and yes a lot of material gets moved. All roads need to put fill in 1 foot lifts and need to be compacted to 95% or more before next lift can go on. Also many underground utilities go in under a road like water, sewer, drainage and power, so a lot of digging and putting back. after all is in, then gravels go down, then finally pavement. It's a long process.

Didn’t see the royal up. You are correct.

You will also get double points over your balcony room, larger room and deck, a bath tub if you have kids, And CK like others have said. The nicer perks really kick in a step above a JS into a Grand suite.

Double Points - Results
Templecruiser replied to Andy & Sheryl Unwin's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I was 11 points shy of diamond when I booked my double points trip for March odyssey cruise, but wanted to used my diamond perks for it. So I found a cheap 6 day balcony in November double points to get me to 81 points. Then got to fully enjoy my 8 day cruise in March with all the vouchers drinks. Then got 32 points for that cruise. So now I’m 4 cruises from diamond plus. One will be on Harmony in December. -
The last 2 cruises there was only one theme night, and that was Caribbean night. Have not seen any other yet. But with things opening up, maybe more will come. I miss toga night.

That’s odd. We got off odyssey a week ago and our JS card was silver, saw many many blue card and saw a couple purple star class cards. Odd that Sky class was blue like I saw most cards people had.

We had well over 20 MPH winds in March and swells were so bad, they delayed offloading for over a hr. They had to call to see if it was worth staying docked. But they got the OK and we got off a hr. late, but stayed a extra hr. On dock side, no one stayed as winds were coming from that direction and were brutal. We were at breezy bay, and wasn't to bad. The wind did calm a bit, so it turned out a nice day, but the sun was out. If cloudy, might not turn out nice.

On our March 8 day Odyssey cruise, only one day had a theme. They had a Caribbean night. Other then that, it was just the normal casual, smart casual, and formal.

Any News on Protocols?
Templecruiser replied to Padgett12345's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
With cruise with confidence gone now after September, how does it work if you test positive after doing the 2 day test before cruise starts. -
We were pending 5 hrs. into our cruise a week ago until it said expired.

No Crown Royal on Royals Ships
Templecruiser replied to Psycho and Barb's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I was very disappointed last week on Odyssey when they told me that. That was my favorite drink. I t must be recent as they had it for my Nov. cruise. -
After my cruise, all I can say, boy I’m glad I didn’t buy the drink package. I saved about $1100. My wife and I had about 70 drinks total. We drank more on sea days and went a little over our vouchers, but not much. Island stops we broke even or didn’t even use them up. In Aruba we didn’t get back on ship until 7pm. Then we had 4 glasses of wine at 1/2 off and the casino gave us a bottle of wine and we don’t gamble. So with all that, I only spent about $150 on drinks. Granted I’m not a huge drinker, but I don’t think I held back if I wanted one thinking I would need to pay as I had over $900 in OBC due to cabin price change, so money wasn’t a issue. But as I was thinking about my last cruise on Allure in November with the drink package, I felt sometimes I was getting drinks to make me feel like I was getting my money’s worth, but really didn’t need it. So for me being a Diamond member, the UDP is not worth it. on a side note tho, it seemed staff wasn’t to excited that I was a diamond member by there expressions, and it seemed like all my drinks we very weak almost virgin like. Yet on Allure with package, tasting the booze wasn’t a issue. Even on CocoCay, I found drinks very weak Maybe it’s just in my head. I guess I’ll find out again in December on Harmony.

We were just on odyssey in a JS. They had a low dim light like a night light, but was still to bright. So we shut door and there was enough light through the crack to be able to find easy.

coco cay Three Ships, One Perfect day at Coco Cay? Maybe?
Templecruiser replied to madrigal singer's topic in Shore Excursions
We were just there, and there no way 3 ships can dock at same time. Also, didn’t see any spot where one could be tendered. Looks like a 2 ship max spot imho.
