We're on the same sailing and had reserved the chill bed. The reservation was automatically adjusted to the new date.

Look at the schedule in the App. If I remember correctly, the schedule included those shows so you could set a reminder.

We were on the Indy and can confirm both the 70s and 80s parties happened. I recommend getting to the pub or Vintages early and getting good seats!
And a Dublin Ice Tea or two will help the curmudgeons in the group enjoy the shows... 😆

Many in our party did get themed up.  It was a lot of fun. Don't know how you can find out other than asking here.  I'd answer, but I don't know.  We're on the Harmony in November.  Keep her clean for us, Okay 🤭

I have this same question. I know you can look at past cruise compasses, but not sure that's a definite thing or not.

Cruise newbie here.  How do you know if there will be parties on your cruise?  I enjoy a good theme night, but do you pack themed get up “just in case,” or can you find out somewhere in advance?  
 
Gotta get through 1 more week of work then we’re FL bound to sail on Harmony 4/3.  

One of the best times I've had on any cruise was when we reserved/rented the Rising Tide, on Symphony, during the 70s/80s, I don't remember the decade.  We had the complete bar open to just our party, it was a party of 14.  The bar went up half way between the top and bottom of its usual travel.  We had a birds eye view of the entire party.  The young ones in our party danced and us old folks just drank and bobbed our heads.

Just sailed Independence out of Port Canaveral.
Sail Away party in full swing (Rick, the cruise director, was by far the BEST cruise director I have EVER encountered on a cruise, by the way) and there was both a 70s party and an 80s party in the Promenade, different nights.

Hi everyone,
We are on the April 25 cruise on the Independence of the Seas. Family of 5 adults and 1 child (under 2 yo). I just booked a beach bed for our day at Coco Cay but in reading some posts in this forum I just realized that the 4 person per beach bed appears to be very strictly enforced. We just wanted a place to hang out in between trips to Splashaway Bay and Captain Jill's Galleon with the baby, and to have a comfortable place for the unavoidable naps (I'm still talking about the baby LOL)
Is there any way that we could pay extra for that 1 additional adult that is, so far, being left out not only of the day bed, but from being able to grab a chair and sit close to the rest of the group?
This will be only our second time in Perfect Day at Coco Cay, so please forgive us is this has been asked here way too many times before.

Hi all. Not sure if you all know this but CVS is now offering "Travel" testing. We sail on Freedom 10/18. We were able to book our appointment 14 days out. This is for those that are having issues with finding test sites. This allows time to plan it out in advance. Went this morning at 10 AM. Took the Rapid test, not the PCR. Got our results back by 11 AM and it was no cost to us. (We do have insurance). Hopefully this is helpful to those with upcoming sailings in the US. 😊🛳💜

We depart on the Freedom tomorrow. All my bids are still pending. Trying to still be positive. I'd rather know than not. Thanks for the info. Hopefully I'll have good news tomorrow but this has been a little stressful.

Nothing would change until 4 day before cruise (at best) but more then likely 1-2 days before departure. “Pending” is a good thing.
