Also cases are irrelevant if the vulnerable are vaccinated. The sooner the CDC, media et al push this narrative, the sooner we can all cruise together. Both Vaccinated and the ‘great unwashed’.

Count me in with you. No concerns about cruising with the un-vaxxed no matter what their reason.

Yeah, it’s terrible to be around people with dumb theories about Covid like people who believe wearing a cloth mask protects them from an aerosolized virus or people who think children should have been kept out of schools. People who wear masks outside. People who really believe Covid was first transmitted from an animal to humans. People that believe a higher rate of people are hospitalized from Covid than actually are. 
 
The point being is there is wild theories on both sides. Just because people chose not to get vaccinated don’t mean they are anti- vaxxers . Maybe they recovered from Covid, have natural immunity, etc. 
and guess what? On your November cruise, there will be unvaccinated people on that ship… oh, the horror!!!! Whenever you cruise beyond November it will be the same thing. I would suggest you cancel any cruises so you can be consistent with your beliefs

I'm just a bit frustrated that RC cannot even give me a date as to when I will know what the conditions will be for my Aug 22nd cruise (specifically vaccinated children).  Being a UK traveller 30 days notice of the requirements is quite short notice, and I have a lot of money tied up in this trip.

100% @icf75. The problem is the scourge of cruise ships sailing isn't going to go away in the post pandemic near term. Clearly your implied suggestion that the CDC needs to get real with it's CSO is needed. Maybe that is happening behind the scenes as Fain seems to imply. Would be nice if so.

Surely if the adults on -board are vaxxed, the possibility of an unvaxxed child passing it to a vaxxed adult and then becoming symptomatic are miniscule?  This is how it will have to be in the future, its just a shame the CDC cant deal with this as the low risk it is!

I didnt know Allure was sailing from Barcelona in August, im due to sail on her in August from Port Canaveral (Although not now due to the vaccination policy).

I hope they reconsider this policy.  5 cruises cancelled so far and eagerly anticipating our November cruise, but wasn't planning on having my 12 year old get vaccinated and certainly not making that decision based on a cruise, as much as I want to go.

Im not sure vaccine apartheid is a good look! And fwiw I am vaccinated. I can only hope for those that choose not to be vaccinated for any reason get to enjoy the same freedoms as those who are.  Whilst not on the same scale, the flu vaccine was never a requirement and does kill people, we need to live with this just like flu! Its a case of people fully understanding the risks, which will be minimal (as it is now for the majority of people-99%survival rate, avg age of death 82 in UK)

The worlds gone mad, it will soon be 'show us your papers' to do anything!
I can only hope I get one more cruise in before this all happens.
