I use them to test myself at home. Not using the app to do so. I take some on trips, even if I do not think I will need them.

I brought small jars of Huckleberry Jam from Montana. I tied purple ribbons on the bottles with made in Montana sticker. Gave them to new friends and staff. They did add some weight and space in luggage, but I replaced it with things I purchased. It seemed to be a big hit, as most places do not have Huckleberries. I also did this when I went to London and was familiar to the hotel staff.

I tip bartenders $1 or $2 each time I order. I also give room stewart some extra money on the first day of the cruise. Anything beyond the normal tipping is always appreciated.

I went on cruise in March and April. Both cruises I received my C & A points in 4-5 days. All at double points. I am happy.

Oasis!!!!

I found my first duck on a cruise in March, by accident. I did not even know about people hiding them. So this month I hid some. The staff even helped me with suggested locations, and one crew member told me that a gentleman found a duck and was thrilled. It was fun. I plan to hide more on next cruise this summer. Harmless and fun. Adults seem to love it as much as children.

Every time I have gone to my muster station, after I did the muster requirements on App, there was nobody waiting. You can basically walk right up to your muster person. Also my husbands phone broke on cruise last month and we went to muster stn and they just told you about the muster and took less than 30 seconds. You do not have to do it ahead of time. If staterooms are open you both can even watch it on your TV. Nothing to worry about in my opinion. And Yes, you can both watch the video on mustering one 1 phone. They will just ask if you watched it and check you off the list.

Yes, the booking will each be separate with different reservation numbers. You can link them. I have my TA take care of that, plus do the reservations. If you cancel one cabin for some reason the refund will depend on several things. If you have refundable deposit or not, when you cancel, terms, etc.

I booked the fee for the session on ship at a good price. I have noticed they do offer discounts sometimes onboard. The fee is for the session, not how many people are in it. At least that is what I experienced. Then there are several options available to purchase pictures. How many, digital, prints, etc.

I feel all the shows are very loud anyway. My husband has hearing loss and has no issue with hearing the sound

Your Royal Up offer is valid for the number of people in the cabin you are upgrading. You cannot add more people to the cabin, even if it accommodates more people. I would recommend staying with what you have.

I usually like cabins on Deck 9 thru 11. Depends on ship. I do not want the deck below the pool areas. We always reserve cabins in mid section near aft. Usually 2-4 cabins from elevators. Never hear any noise from elevators. But we do not cruise on the older ships anymore. And I watch out for the grey areas next to cabins. That is crew area, and can be noisy with their carts and work they are doing. The other grey areas, like the one you mentioned between restaurants, I assume are the kitchens and work areas for crew.

The airlines did not open the boxes. They were still sealed. Our friends took their covid tests with them in carry-on bags also and they were not opened. Either in US airports or Europe airports. We traveled after the cruise this month from Rome to London, and no one opened them at those airports either.

I was on Oasis in March for 2 weeks, and just completed TA/Europe cruise on Odyssey. We were not provided with Cruise Compass on Oasis, but we did have them daily on Odyssey. Both ships did not require reservations at Royal Theater, but the smaller venues sometimes did require reservations. You could always get into a show, with good seats with or without reservations. Nothing was ever full. You cannot book any shows until you are on the ship. Had a great time on both cruises! Can't wait for the next one this summer.

I just flew back from London 2 days ago, after cruise. The US requirement to return to US on a plane is to have a covid test 1 day before departure. Am doing another Europe cruise in Sept. and hoping by then the tests are not required.

We just got back from Europe cruise and put our covid tests in carry-on bag, just to be sure they do not freeze. Airlines allow you to carry covid tests in your carry-on bags along with bottle of sanitizer. It does not affect your liquids carry on bag of items under 3oz.

I have had out bags taken by someone else twice now. We got them back but a real hassle and one bag took over a month to get back. We always carry our own bags off, for last few years. Not really an issue. No problem with elevators, no stairs to deal with. You can also get off whenever you want. Self carry has a time slot to debark, as all the other people have times. But if you carry off your luggage you really can go anytime. We have a nice breakfast and get off when is convenient for us. Highly recommend carrying off your own bags.

I think the map says deck 15, but it is actually a deck higher, that you access from deck 15. with stairs and usually a ramp also.

yes, curious about what is the second ship. And I would choose Caribbean for sure. More things to do for one. And if the caribbean is a newer ship, better yet

I had great food on Oasis last month at Giovanni's. Went for lunches and dinners. yum

Does not matter what time you take the test, just 2 calendar days before. So, if you embark at 3pm, you can take the test 2 days ahead in the morning.

No problem really as they are matching it with your photo when they enter the cabin number.
