  1. I love decorating my door, especially for holidays
  2. There is a taco bar at Chill Grill also. Right at Chill beach area
  3. There are plenty of mild fish dishes. Some with great sauces. Or you can try fried fish. It has breading and might be more tolerable. But just ask for a small taste of different things and see how it goes. If doesn't work, at least you tried. Just enjoy your cruise and food offerings!
  4. I have a copy of this paper and it says you need to pick your cruise "within 2 months". You pay deposit at next cruise. onboard ship.
  5. When I have overnighted on a ship you could come and go as your please, anytime. Met some people who had friends at one port and they even stayed at their house overnight. No problem.
  6. The regular Voom is not very good. But Voom and Stream is fairly good. We had no issues. And looked at our pets at home on the cameras! haha
  7. I have sailed over Halloween , but pre-pandemic. They had a costume contest in one of the venues. Was super fun to watch. We had not thought of bringing costumes. There were many decorations around the ship. Carved pumpkins, spider webs, special drinks, etc. Not many kids as they were mostly in school then. If I were to go again over Halloween I would bring a costume. Something easy. Enjoy!
  8. I will need to test in a hotel this month for a cruise. I always bring extras. You just never know
  9. You cannot book the restaurant reservations until you are on the ship. 3 months ago on Odyssey we had no issues just walking in to Izumi for dinners or lunch. No reservations.
  10. I also, have had lobster on Transatlantic and European cruises.
  11. Jr Suite gets dinner only, depending on availability. You have to make reservations each day, not multiple days. So we called or dropped by CK each morning to get reservations and had no issues getting a table.
  12. No dress code for Playmakers and Izumi. I believe you can order more than 1 entree anywhere except Chop's.
  13. Hibachi was good. You can pick which meats you want, including lobster and filet mignon. But It also depends on the arrangement of the tables because it can be very noisy. There are usually 4 tables with up to 12 people at them. The cook talks the whole time, entertaining, people cheer, etc. If you want a more relaxing dinner go somewhere else. If I have Unlimited dining package I go 1 night. I like the food, but sometimes not all the noise.
  14. I was told a statement lasted for 3 months, before needing a new statement to book the OBC. I had statement emailed and got the credits the next day for the cruises within 3 months. Will do it again in a couple months for other cruises.
  15. Our planner had said that Chops was to be place for specialty lunch on embarkation day, but arriving at Chops they said it would instead be Giovanni's. I really like the change actually. And they are practically next to each other, so no issue.
  16. We will be on Brilliance in about 2 weeks. B2B. We picked our cabin and are happy with it, a JS Aft. Hoping the MDR improves. The first week we do have Unlimited dining so will not be going to MDR at all. We will see how the second week goes! We will enjoy anyway, as we love cruising!
  17. On Oasis this year the embarkation specialty restaurant open was Giovanni's.
  18. I have found that it is either Chop's or Giovanni's. Depends on the ship and what restaurants they have.
  19. I am also sailing from Italy to Greece next month for 2 weeks. I sure wish I did not have to take the test. As will have to do it in Venice in our hotel. The 4 days before cruise we are in Venice.
  20. Robes in your cabin, welcome snack and beverage in your cabin, usually a tour of some sort, priorities on some waitlists or entry to shows. Enjoy!
  21. Depends on the airport. Some airports still want them in plastic ziploc and taken out of the carry-on. Was required by me this year a couple times. Be prepared.
