I had this happen when I did a L&S from 2021 to 2022.  Royal honored the Kids Sail Free for the 2 girls in our group who will now be 13 instead of 12!

There are two things that people really dislike.  When things stay the same, and when things change.
At least it's that way with folks in my profession.  ?

Hey all! Did anyone else notice the new UI for Cruise planner? I just logged into my account for the first time in a few weeks and I am digging the new look! Excited to browse arouns and see what else has changed...

Not good news for me!!  I am supposed to be with my group of 30 family members on the Navigator in April 2022 sailing from Ft Lauderdale!!!!!!!

What, today's statement of "if you try really hard, and really behave and get all your chores done, maybe, just maybe, you can have your toys by mid summer" didn't seem reassuring?

I’ve been waiting for Royal to sail out of my home port, so I’m personally excited and can’t wait to book! 
Though I too would be frustrated and scrambling. We are booked on Anthem Dec ‘21 (12 nights) fully paid. The fact that Royal is cancelling cruises in a way that may be best for them and not necessarily due to CDC guidelines is nerve-racking and I wonder should I consider sailing out of LA. Wait I already bought flights to get us to New Jersey in December ? ?

Well... This escalated quickly.
I am booked on Navigator out of FLL March of 22' and had hoped to add a west coast or Panama Canal (longshot, I know) for later in the year. Now here I am scrambling to keep the Oceanview panoramic suite I had on Navigator for the move to Freedom.
Just got off the phone with them and they can't lock me into that room until the 14th. The phone agent said they will start moving reservations on the 14th and should be done by the 23rd.
A little bummed because we LOVE Hooked seafood on Navigator, so not having that on Freedom stinks. But staying positive because Freedom was our honeymoon cruise and will now be our first cruise as a family of 3.

They have closed Freedom for new bookings so what you see on the website is not indicative of actual inventory.
They have basically frozen Freedom so they can move guests as cleanly as possible.

When our March 2020 sailing was cancelled, I immediately logged in to cruise planner and cancelled everything.   Refunds to credit card within days....  People that left items booked waited months for $$$ to be returned...
 
Just my experience...

We're very much looking forward to it. Flying in two days early to spend time in Venice. We have never been there before.

We are in phase 2a.  Phase 2b is the simulated voyages. 
CSO introduced: Oct. 2020.
CSO phase 2a details provided: Apr. 2021.
I'm sure the phase 2a approvals leading to phase 2b simulated voyages will be approved promptly.  By CDC standards prompt is between six and eighteen months.
 

I think we all should exercise a lot of caution with respect to sharing personal health choices and information with any private business.  
If a sports venue or movie theater starts building a database with my health information that may seem innocent enough for this particular virus but where is this going?  Will information be used to target sales and promotions?  What about discounts?  Will my health information be shared or sold to other businesses so a different unrelated business can target sales to me?
It's one thing for a government to request vaccine data when someone arrives for entry into a country.  It's another matter when private business begins requiring this data as a condition to enter a business or purchase a service.
I avoid many social media platforms for this reason - they are really just trying to gather a lot of personal details about you.  What they do with that information is the real danger.   

Latest agent I spoke with said an internal announcement went out announcing the delay.  The announcement doesn't mention a new release date but he said there are rumors it will be closer to the end of April. 
Interested in what other experience when calling.

Thanks twangster, appreciate you sharing your experience. I will try calling Royal today to see what they say to me. It's a bummer if it is end of April, you lose that excitement of when they were originally supposed to get released and are just now just like whatever and hope it comes out soon. They should make that info public so people aren't wondering. We can't be the only ones out there wondering why Navigator out of LA isn't posted yet. Royal needs to do a better job with their marketing/Public announcements IMO. When they said back on 3/17 I believe, that day we would get the "news we've all been waiting for", it wasn't that sailings were going to start, it was the Nav out of LA which is exciting but their commitment for the week of 3/29 didn't even happen, and a few days later on 3/19 I believe they announced Adventure would come out on 3/24 which it did, thankfully. Can't wait until Nav out of LA comes out offiically to everyone!
