On our Oasis cruise we booked the Aqua show for when we were still in port at Canaveral. I think this was the only one where they performed the whole show. All the others were either canceled or had pieces cut for various reasons. It was really cool watching the high wire walk with a lightning storm off in the distance. During the behind the scenes with the entertainment staff they were asked about lightning. We were told they would cancel if it was within six miles.

When I went through security for my Sept 4th Oasis cruise they confiscated my three outlet plug, which my wife and I use to plug in both of our CPAPs. I've had this go through OK on five previous cruises. They then were giving me a hard time about the converter with USB plugs that looks like the one @JeffB highlighted. They did finally let it go. Then I couldn't find my claim check we I departed, oh well it's just a couple bucks. I think they are getting pickier about these things, perhaps because of the higher passenger counts?

Perfect timing as I was just thinking about researching my Boston cruise. Since I'm only an hour from the city, I still plan on doing a recognizance trip. This did answer my parking question which might not have been obvious on a drive by.

Looks like you still need a monitored test when going to Canada or Bermuda
Accepted Tests for U.S. Cruises Departing on or Before September 4, 2022; or Any Cruise that Visits Canada or Bermuda
The test you take must be supervised by a health professional, such as a doctor, pharmacy technician, public health worker, or telehealth professional.
Telehealth testing at home is accepted for vaccinated guests, and must be conducted under live video supervision. Unvaccinated guests can use telehealth testing only if their cruise does not visit Canada or Bermuda. Learn more about acceptable telehealth tests including our home test kit.
You must receive a valid results document from your test provider that includes the name of the lab that processed the test, the lab’s CLIA Lab Number or Certification Number, the address of the lab, your name, the date the test was taken, type of test, and your negative result. This can be a printed document, email, or telehealth app notification that you show on your phone. Fully handwritten doctor’s notes (such as those written on a prescription pad) will not be accepted. Minimal handwritten components (such as a check mark on a “negative” box) are acceptable as long as the other required information is printed on the document.

For our June Alaska cruise the app allowed me to fill it out 72 hours before the cruise departed Seattle. We would not be in Vancouver until day 6 of the cruise. While on board we had to provide the number we received with QR code from the app along with a Canadian customs form.

We're on an October Voyager sailing. I got the DBP for $65. I've been struggling with the Diamond decision also. For this cruise I have several family members also on board so plan to use my vouchers to get them a few drinks. My wife can't drink alcohol or carbonated beverages, so i always have to call to get the package for me and the refreshment package for her. That makes is more of a hassle if I want to reprice.

We just missed the drop for testing. Oasis Sept 4th. Then Canada on Voyager in October. I'll need to get another three pack of emed test kits.

If you book thru next cruise then reprice because of a price drop, do you loose the OBC?

My son and I are on this itinerary Sept 4th. It'll be the fourth time we've done this. Twice on Anthem and now twice on Oasis. Probably won't get off the ship. We have done the Beach Club twice, totally agree with @USCG Teacher but I wouldn't pay more than 100$. Currently it's like 179 so a no go for us. On our Ovation cruise this June we had a JS and really wanted to do CK. When I went there on boarding day we were able to book dinner every night for the entire cruise! Perhaps because we wanted to eat at 5 as they first opened. Again I agree the food and service were fantastic, really enhanced the whole trip. I think we saw more whales sitting there than on our whale watch.
Thanks for the insights @USCG Teacher

Like @Pooch I'm trying to figure out the best way to do without the DBP. I was thinking of bringing the wine and then making my own wine coolers by putting a couple of ounces in my soda cup. I'll have my Diamond drinks but based on the past they really won't cover it. I guess I could limit my drinks, but heck I'm there to enjoy myself.

Then again, we're 4 weeks out from an Oasis cruise and just staring to get that nervous tingle. Really don't think they'll drop testing before then nor for our October cruise, especially since October goes to Canada and they'll probably be requiring testing through 2023.

So @RCIfan1912 I wouldn't have tested every day. My son tested positive three weeks before our Alaska cruise, tested negative five days later. I didn't do any tests until the required one, two days before. It would either be negative or not. On the other hand I might test positive 10 days before and be required to cancel, and then actually be negative again five days later? My son and I both had COVID Feb 2021, my wife sleeping in the same bed with me never got it.

For us the app still shows the Voyager sailings, but we changed to Harmony. Our reservation ID remained the same so can't "link" a missing reservation. Lots of time before May 23.

I found an interesting use for one of my pins. As I was getting dressed for formal night or dress your best, I found that my nice collared shirt was missing a button. Looked bad, but I took my diamond pin and used it instead, it was actually a close match to the regular buttons, plus mostly covered by my tie.

Our May/June B2B switched from Voyager to Adventure. We're not sure what we're going to do. The big draw for this cruise was the particular cabin we had 1108, doesn't exist on Adventure.

@MattG interesting. I'm on Oasis Sept 4th. I've got the DBP+Voom for $88.99, the current sale does not offer that, but if I purchase DBP and Voom individually I could save $10. Not sure if I'll bother. We just booked this a couple weeks ago so this is only the second "sale" we've seen for this sailing.

I think Chris explained he couldn't do a video of the loyalty program because it changes so frequently. What's good today may change tomorrow, never mind in a couple of years when someone finds the video, then find all the rules are different. I usually stop by the casino early the second day, go through my free play and then perhaps a bit more. Not really a gambler I don't expect to ever get beyond prime. Although if that lottery ticket pays, you never know
