Well I think I top that....
On Mariner,  heading to Jamie's for lunch, I was waiting on my mother, who gets lost all the time, and people watching. I was standing by the entrance to Jamie's so only a salad and fruit area was available in the Windjammer. I saw a man do "washy, washy" then scratch his butt for a whole minute after. He then grab a plate under another plate, because the first was apparently not clean enough. Adjusted his shorts and starting making a plate of salad. We only ate at the Windjammer twice, both times they were literally just opening up. So I am all about them serving people.

Hmm I don't think anyone has posted this but on the RCCI website they have 3D views of rooms. I think this might be one of the updates that had the site down. So far it is only on a few ships like Indy and Nav but I was still shocked to see the videos there. Now there is no reason to look up a room on YouTube. These 3D tours show you not just the layout but an actual tour around the room. This will definitely help people who can't decide between the different types.

They had the 3D tours a few years back (look for one of the Aqua Theater Suites !) but they went away.  Nice to see they are coming back.

So I cancelled a few CP purchases before my L&S on June 4th. Just got the money today, it said it was credited on June 20th...but I check my CC daily. It makes me think RCCI is pushing through refunds but some CC companies hold them.  I cancelled the rest on June 15th so I am hoping to see a refund around the 10th of July or so. I think they refund CP purchases you cancel faster than if it is cancelled by a cancelled sailing. Or there is no rhyme or reason to how any of this works.

I got my first passport when i was 16 years old and my mother had filled out the papers for her passport on the same day that I Had filled out the papers for my very first passport and I only had my mother’s permission but I did not have my father’s permission, so my mother and when we applied for our passports in person my mom & I each had to bring our birth certificates when to show that we are related.

@Mrs. Thomas Life happens, doesn't make you any dirtier, we all shine like we should. That being said if you have been married awhile, that could prove legal guardianship from your husbands standpoint. I can't see this being an issue...unless their is a custody battle and you were trying to take your daughter away. I honestly think trying to get in contact with him twice might be enough to satisfy. I know from experience we often make things far more difficult than they have to be by overthinking. I have known two people who got the passport books for their children, uninvolved father/mothers withstanding. They just showed up with their spouse and filled out the paperwork.

My understanding is if you have divorce papers or your second husband adopted your daughter, it should be fine.  Also there is a way to stipulate that your husband is a legal guardian by getting paperwork, your marriage license might even be enough. I would call and see because it might be less stressful than you think.

But yeah I would say for the time being the hammocks might be gone. My favorite smoothie spot has these wonderful padded chairs...correction had. They had to be replaced with easily wipe-able chairs.

I guess a silver lining is I L&S to a new ship. My job isn't allowing travel or vacation until after Feb 2021. I had a 4 night Mariner Jan 2021 that I planned to turn into a B2B or S2S. So I L&S the Mariner to a Jan 2022 Indy that I plan to turn into a S2S. I have been on Mariner but never on Indy so I get to explore a whole new ship. This also means I might be able to squeeze in another cruise sometime in 2021, when things settle down a bit.

Hmm the wording implies new bookings but not new cruisers...which makes sense. When the 1st round of cancellations happened, cruise prices went down for June, July and August. How many people hoped on the bandwagon to score a good deal? Then people like me said well I can't cruise this year, but I will book more next year. Or they felt like no cruises will happen this year so the booked 2021. Those people might also be waiting for FCC, like me, on a cruise they cancelled to later apply to a balance. This would increase the demand, meaning a lot of new bookings....we might also all be C&A members. So I can see prices increasing because the demand is pretty much there. By next year people will be anxious to cruise again, the filthy petri-dish idea will be in the rear view.

OH, OH, I WANNA PLAY!!!!  I like silver linings. I had a sailing booked on Rhapsody, because it was the only ship going to Roatan (the only request my Honduran wife made for the cruise) the week we could go. THE WHOLE WEEK. Crazy.  But, thanks to our dear friend Covid-19, we were cancelled, and rebooked for a sailing in 2021 that goes to Roatan, AND Coco Cay, on HARMONY. This will be my 1st Oasis class!  AAAAAND were going from an ocean view to an ocean balcony!!!!
