@Lovetocruise2002 Oh the not eating after 7pm thing isn't vintage
. BTW we all have a lot of pre-vintage/vintage tendencies. It's the saying of such things and then doing the opposite like Ali's father. Really it is "vintage logic" so to speak. Like again Ali's father thinking they are getting to the airport too early

I like to keep all my cruise stuff in a carry-on that I never use. I just go in and out since its now a storage case and I never worry about having to find stuff. I was using totes but since the suitcase is there, might as well. Like you I will be about 8mths in dry dock before my next cruise, the longest in forever. But I will do some spring-cleaning next month and replenish any cruise supplies.

OMG I just love when vintages do this
. My mother and grandmother have the "don't eat after 7:30" bad!!!! Yet when I come with something, they stuff their faces and complain.

I think later in the week the staff at Playmakers get better.
On a side note, how did your son like it just being the two of you?

This depends. I am diamond plus so I use my free 2 days first then apply my 30% off. It is always cheaper for me and that can be used on any number of devices. The biggest thing to remember is it will be 30% off onboard prices. So imho if you don't have free days, the pre cruise sale prices are better.

I have tried and true travel clothes. Whenever I rock the boat I regret it. So I'm sticking with what I know.
Also pre/post-cruise pizza is a thing for me as well.

So they do base the MDR menus off the itineraries. So you might not get bon voyage, which is usually only available in cruises of 6n or higher, or Mexican/ Caribbean night because it's based on cruises that go there. You should be able to check a current sailing to get an idea.

Portside is a must if I am on Oasis. Also they give you way too much food.

I hope dad is okay.
These tariffs and threats of deportation got these insects and animals behaving wild. A possum or opossum tried to follow me into my house last night
. I had to throw my umbrella at it. It wasn't raining but I carry an umbrella in my bag. I to need a vacation

I am still fascinated you iron and hang all your shirts.

I hope Labadee gets canceled in Sept, I loathe that port and would rather be anywhere else even if I'm losing a casino day.

What type of rooms do you guys have. I know nothing of MSC, so I am enjoying this new information.
I can never understand getting rid of pockets.
Also, as an Away person, did you see the White Lotus collection? I think it is as basic as the show
-
Oasis has GT aka Giovanni Table which doesn't have lasagna but a bomb minestrone and calamari. I believe the amp Freedom started with GK, and newer ships like Wonder, Odyssey, etc. are all GK which is the kitchen version and has pizza and lasagna.

I'm familiar with Royal's "Key" add-on (and its benefits). We are taking our first Celebrity cruise next year and just bought the "Premium Access Wifi..." add-on. What are the differences between Royal's "Key" and Celebrity's "Premium Access"?
The information regarding the premium access is listed when you purchased. But I think the major difference is one person can purchase Premium Access in the room without everyone having to get it unlike the key. I know it's 2 device internet, welcome lunch, priority boarding, room service, and I believe it something with the luggage.

I just booked 2 double occupancy cabins and tried to book a third for a single. I mentioned solo cabins and they didnt respond only to say it was the same price I saw @ $1900 and no discounts were available. I call BS. But not much you can do.
Only select ships on Royal have actual solo cabins. There are no discounts for solo pax until you reach a milestone in the loyalty program. So you will pay for double occupancy minus the taxes and fees.

They have those outlets on Oasis, they work but you have to check under and make sure it's connected.
Royal has this obsession with ugly carpet and college decor.......maybe because its cheap.

You are lucky that things worked out. Real life has mucked up my cruise schedule. This will be my longest dry dock since 2020. I was really hoping to get back on Wonder even with her doing shorties. Not the case as more than likely I will be transitioning to Celebrity. But I am really looking forward to GK and MJ photos.

First, I like how the cabana says "possibility of swimming"
But also, you have decent ports, but I also can understand not wanting to visit said ports with vintages.

Truthfully it will depend on a lot of factors. If there are a lot of pins on your sailing plus full suites will be the most important factor. In some instances after the first night they may make your reservations for the remainder of the week.
