Yes, but unless you are at least Prime tier with Club Royale, it will cost you 5% to take a cash “draw” at the casino. You can get money through a slot machine against your onboard account without a charge.

I'm sorry to have to be the one to tell you this....but you are totally, completely, solidly hooked on cruising. Full blown addict. Unfortunately, there is no cure....not that you would want one anyway. Welcome to the club. ?

Anthem & Potential Coronavirus
WAAAYTOOO replied to coneyraven's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
...speaking of making Pinnacle...did you have anything you wanted to tell the gallery ? -
It also helps that Royal has a glut of ships at the moment...

If airfare is going to be a deal breaker for you, be sure you book a refundable cruise fare so that you can change your plans if airfare is outside of your budget.

Anthem & Potential Coronavirus
WAAAYTOOO replied to coneyraven's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
Great news !!!! They awarded us C&A points for the entire 8 day Anthem cruise even though it was shortened to 5 days !! 16 points for us since we were in a suite. Only 190 to Pinnacle !!!! -

Unfortunately, just b/c RoyalUp offers are going out does not mean that there are staterooms in those categories available. -

Side to Side Cruise Coming Up, question.
WAAAYTOOO replied to KenCP's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
This is called a Side to Side (S2S)(vs B2B). We did it this past year. We boarded Brilliance in Tampa November 25 for a 5 night Thanksgiving cruise which ended in Tampa on Nov. 30. We drove (rental) from Tampa to Miami, spent the night in Miami and boarded Oasis on December 1 for a 7 night cruise. A slightly modified S2S since we spent 1 night on land, but close enough. -
I thought your Star Class takeover cruise was on Allure in March 2021...

Welcome to the blog, Arati !!!

Welcome to the blog, Klb. I don't think anyone knows yet, what Allure will get, but I think it's a good bet that she will get pretty much the same overhaul that Oasis got.
-
I'm so sorry that this is happening now !! I know how it feels to worry about your transportation. It is one of the risks of travel this time of year. Good luck. Here's hoping that your flight leaves without incident.

Middle east, yes. South Asia ? No -
should I be afraid? are you afraid?

I will definitely not be taking any Asian-originated (or terminated) cruises in the foreseeable future. -
She is beautiful, Joe ! The amplification was just what Oasis needed. Good choice.

Transfer Direct Booking with RCI to Travel Agent?
WAAAYTOOO replied to PieEater's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Welcome to the blog, PieEater ! There are pros and cons with using an agent. Actually, there are many pros and only 1 con -at least, in my eyes. The only negative is that you lose personal direct control of your booking. The Agent must intercede on your behalf on all matters including adjustments or payments. The pros are many....especially in the rare situations where things don’t go exactly the way you think they will. In those situations, the Agent is priceless. Booking (and, most notably, booking adjustments) rules do differ from the UK to the US but I don’t know enough about UK rules to be of much help here. I believe that with UK rules, you cannot price adjust, should your cruise fare drop. I don’t know whether you realize this or not, but you can book under US rules (which will permit cruise fare price adjustments) if you book with a US agent. The sponsor of this blog site (MEI Travel) is such an authorized US/UK agent. Many of us here use MEI. The one rule is that you must pay in USD. Should you transfer your booking to an Agent ? Frankly, if everything goes as planned, there is no need for an Agent. However, things don’t always go as planned. Recently, with all of the uncertainty surrounding things the the Corona Virus, you just never know. Adding or subtracting people to/from your booking, changing staterooms, linking reservations to other bookings, booking excursions - all things that Agents handle for you, should you need them. Personally, I use MEI 100% of the time. They’ve saved me more than once...or twice. Whatever you decide, good luck and happy cruising ! -
The Krazy Lobster is a great place. Just take the shuttle over and walk down the beach. They’ll find you a nice table, lounger or hammock. $1 Coronas !

We also have the OV deck 9. I have gone back and forth about upgrading but with virtually no suites amenities and the awful location of the full suites on this class, I just don’t see the value.

That is correct

I agree that this is becoming routine for cruises with large numbers of upper tier on a sailing, but hasn’t it normally been for the D+ that are being kicked out of the CL/SL ?
