Reading the RCI terms and conditions, it also references not being combined with Travel agent rates. Does that mean I won't be able to use it because I already booked with MEI travel?

Thanks @Matt and @bobroo for the clarifications. Understand it may be offered as OBC instead of discount, but I'm fine with that. Obviously I am hoping it will be a good investment, but I will report back on how well the stockholder benefit works out.

Did some research online and on the forum here looking up the RCI stockholder benefits. It's clear that you must purchase a minimum of 100 shares but I am still unclear about if the stockholder discount can be applied in addition to other promotions or discounts. Previously I don't think you could combine them but I thought I read a blog post that the rules had changed and now you can. Is that true? Apologies but I can't find the thread where I read it. I understand the risk/rewards of purchasing stock and was going to do it anyway. But with 5 cruises booked, it would be great to get the extra discount.

oops....I had Grandeur on the brain, so my brain on a Monday just went with that. Enchantment is such a fun ship. If you are the lucky charm, then she should pay you to come on cruises with her!!!

Our 17 and 20 year old went to the casino to play slots every night on our December cruise. We didn't know until 2nd to last day of cruise. They said no one from RCI monitored or asked them for ID. Not sure if that helps.

Thinking about purchasing the Deluxe Beverage Package and Internet combo. I know I have to buy the DBP for both adults in the cabin, but can I get away with purchasing the DBP/internet combo for one adult and DBP only for the other? For our cruise on Oasis this fall, thinking of the 3 night dining package. Never been to 150 Central Park, so that would be on the list but could use some recommendations for other places. Somewhat "meh" on Chops. How does the credit or surcharge work for Playmakers, Izumi, and BBQ restaurant?

We were on Anthem for New Year's and just a few doors down from the cabin you referenced. No issues with cleanliness at all. +1 for the stay away from the reviews. We read so may lackluster reviews about Enchantment before we sailed her a couple of years ago, we almost pulled the plug. We were honestly pleased that the condition of ship, service of crew, and food and drinks exceeded our expectations.

Been on Anthem and Freedom and they are both great ships. Oasis with the amplification looks to be amazing as well and we will sail on her later this year. Pick the itinerary that appeals to you and let the ship happen. LOL!

@SpeedNoodles....here's some advice you don't need. What would it hurt to put in a bid? Most likely it's rejected, no harm done there. Or it's accepted and you get a nicer cabin. #winning

It's so awesome that you took pictures of so many things. Thank you for sharing. We loved 270 but had mixed feelings about Spectra's. We watched from the upper level. Amazing sound and technology.

Totally get the excitement. We went 22 months between cruises and now have 4 (or is it 5) cruises booked between 21 days and 640 days from today. Have not been on Oasis (or any Oasis class) yet, but really want to. Hope you get to post some pics and details about your trip. Most importantly.....ENJOY!

We got the email too. No text. We sail in 3 weeks. What happens to people that have been in China or in contact with someone? Do they get a refund?

@Ogilthorpe…………..I think it's 60 days. We booked with NextCruise and we had 60 days to make changes through our TA. Worked for us, we upgraded from a balcony to a JS for a minimal amount.

Following......sounds like you are off to a good start on your Anthem cruise. Hope you make it on NorthStar, it really is fun. How was Wonderland? Is Mitch no longer the CD? What is Mercedes' last name, wonder if she is the one we had on Freedom a couple of years ago. Would you recommend The Gift? Heard mixed reviews of it so far.
