We love a warm Solarium on the Anthem out of NJ.  Not so happy with the people who walk by, open a window, and then walk away.  I know, we are getting old...

Are we talking about the soda cups?  I am D+ and get one on every cruise, but only because I buy the soda package on every cruise! 😉

I purchased a travel wheelchair for my mom, it’s lightweight and folds nicely.  
I did this because I used to lift the heavy duty wheelchair in and out of my car for all appointments I took her to.  The weight of the chair was awful I  my back and fitting it in a car was not easy.  additionally her weight added to the chair made pushing it even harder. 
The best was taking mom and her chair to Europe for her last hurrah.
When we flew we gate checked the chair.  I took the foot rests into the plane to ensure they didn’t disappear.  I also tied the wheelchair closed before they tagged it for the gate check.  I had my son push my mom in the wheelchair, since I have a bad back.  I did push it at times   It’s difficult to push a wheelchair on the plush carpet of the hallways on the ship.  If you’ve not booked your cabin you might want to take that into consideration.  I think exiting backwards with the wheelchair while going down the ramp is the way to go. I do believe staff helped with all movement on/off the ship via the ramps.

Or a scooter. Can't take them of the ship however. I had to use a scooter in 2018 when I had a knee issue. Had to suck it up and rely on pain meds off the ship. 😎

If someone in your party is able to push her in a wheelchair, you may want to look into renting one for the trip.

Multiple cruises in JS under the double-points this year got us to D+ as well.

Said this before, but I am in (or have been in) the same Boat!  After playing around on different cruise lines, it took Ceil and I 13 years to reach D and another 12 years to reach D+.  So we hit D+ on our 25th anniversary, since we started cruising on our honeymoon in 1996.  That was all done with single points per day - no solo, no suites, and NO double points!  Earned it the old fashioned way - so I can relate.  It seems like for many Royal cruisers the pandemic provided more time to cruise and of course double points.  Getting to D in just several cruises seems crazy to me after all our years of only being able to afford only one (sometimes two) cruises per year.  But that said, times have changed...

I've bragged about getting to Diamond because for us, it's an accomplishment and has been a goal.  Unlike many here, a lot of folks don't have the time or funds to cruise as often as we'd like.  Additionally, many don't have the funds to accelerate the process by living the Suite life.  Reaching Diamond requires the equivalent of 12 standard 7 night cruises.  It's taken my wife and I 17 years to finally get there.  So I'm going to celebrate it.  Who knows how long it will take to get D+.  Now that we're closing in on retirement, perhaps it won't take another 17 years to get there and we'll occasionally treat ourselves to a suite.

Each sailing he makes us all take photos just for the free photo, and every sailing since making Diamond a while ago, we come home with two more. I don't even know where to put these photos now. The one shelf I started is starting to overflow.

My account today now reflects that I'm Diamond Plus. Only 518 points to Pinnacle!

The free photo is a def plus.  We took advantage on last cruise 😉  First time I ever packed a jacket for a cruise....surprised her with it.

I hit Diamond this past Jan and will hit D+ Jan 2023, sailing solo and the double points helped. I have my first transatlantic on Anthem (first time on her) next year Oct and won't have to buy a drink package for the 14nights. Those 5 drinks will be a godsend, imagine having to pay for a 14-night drink package😰😬

I did this recently for my upcoming cruise on Adventure and the price remained the same with just the taxes being added.  I also added the prepaid gratuities but the cabin price was just split between the two of us with the discounts.  Maybe my original cabin price was still the same when I added my daughter?
