@kittysoul, I've done lunch on Anthem's Izumi twice now. As @USCG Teacher noted, they (and all specialty dining venues) are only open for lunch on sea days regardless of ship.
Be sure to have their specialty drink "She's a Geisha" with your lunch. Very tasty drink, light and very good as a lunch time cocktail. And only available at Izumi. ?

It is my opinion (and nothing more) that when they decided to turn the Ultimate Dining Plan into the Unlimited Dining Plan, they truly meant for it to be unlimited.  I'm sure they realized that there will be some people who will try and "game" the system but for the most part, I believe that people just come in, eat what they want and leave.  I agree with @twangsterthat Johnny Rocket is an anomaly.  Some ships will include it in the UDP and some do not.  Some ships allow you to have a milkshake using the DBP and some do not.  Some ships will allow you to go to JR and get ONLY a milkshake, using the DBP (not requiring you to eat at all) and some will not.
We nearly always purchase both the UDP and the DBP and honestly, I have never been turned away from any restaurant or told that my plan would not cover whatever I was seeking.  I've still never eaten at a Playmakers so I cannot say what would happen if someone wanted to eat, leave and come back for more. 

Highly variable.  A few cases have been reported where it was covered but my own success rate is zero.  
Having said that the Playmakers Burger beats JR by 1000%.  I don't even try JR when there is a PM.

So far that has been successful however each ship is free to make up their own policy.

I don't have one, but it is basically the snack shack menu, such as, chicken sandwiches, Portobello burgers, salads, funnel cake, etc.  
You can order as much as you want.  They will drop the menu off around 10 when they drop off the a.m. fruit platter.  They will deliver at the time you request.  There will be a p.m. fruit kebab delivery.

Hey guys... so I ended up getting room 14568... balcony room next to the elevator and just a short piece down the hall from the solarium.. so I am pleased with that!!  It is not portside but thats okay, i would rather have this proximity to the solarium than be on the port side at the other end of the ship... and changing rooms, i ended up saving 600 dollars... which was very odd to me!  Also i found out that the room I did have was a 50% obstructed view, and had no idea!  So thank you for all your help, i think i am going to  be happy with this location!!  -Julie

Hey guys... so I ended up getting room 14568... balcony room next to the elevator and just a short piece down the hall from the solarium.. so I am pleased with that!!  It is not portside but thats okay, i would rather have this proximity to the solarium than be on the port side at the other end of the ship... and changing rooms, i ended up saving 600 dollars... which was very odd to me!  Also i found out that the room I did have was a 50% obstructed view, and had no idea!  So thank you for all your help, i think i am going to  be happy with this location!!  -Julie

On Allure there is a deck 14 port side forward door that leads to the forward outdoor public deck in front of the solarium.  This doesn't lead to the solarium which is actually on deck 15 and deck 16. 
 
For Allure, this door is how you reach this area:

Note the solarium one deck above looking down onto this deck 14 forward public deck.
There is a starboard deck 14 door but I seem to recall it being blocked or marked as emergency use only.  I'm not positive about this.
