But those aren’t double points, those are standard points for each situation.

Can I bring onboard a small fan to help me sleep?
TXcruzer replied to Karen Bauer's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I have done both, but more often than not, it’s in my carry on. -
Can I bring onboard a small fan to help me sleep?
TXcruzer replied to Karen Bauer's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
We have taken this fan on every cruise for about 7-8 years, its awesome, and the clip is very strong, you can mount it anywhere and direct the air in an infinite number of ways. https://www.amazon.com/10000mAh-Battery-Operated-Portable-Stroller/dp/B08866RDYK/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=rechargeable+clip+fan&qid=1633185029&sr=8-7 -
Liberty of the Seas approved for restricted!
TXcruzer replied to Shari's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Or they could have opted to operate at a 95% vaccinated level, that would have garnered more goodwill from a large percentage of cruisers. -
Traveling WIth Trusted Traveler ID
TXcruzer replied to leesam82's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
A domestic flight is one thing, returning from international is another thing all together. Honestly, I don't know the answer, but it would concern me. -

I think you got bad information, Trusted Traveler Status is not a substitute for a passport, or other ID -

Florida $5,000 fines to start September 16
TXcruzer replied to Jill's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
Surely you would agree however, that the cruise lines taking the lead on vaccination proof and testing, did not occur without outside pressure. I don’t see that pressure being applied to domestic airlines, it was proposed last month and summarily shot down at the federal level. I am in agreement with everything you have posted, and as a healthcare professional am completely in favor of a system like the EU system (AKA Schengen Visa), and I concur that the USA has woefully failed in doing what’s best for the country in this regard. -
Hopefully you will be able to tell us in a couple days. My “re-check-in” is Oct 7, and I’d like to know how yours goes.

Good news is, in an environment where sunglasses are required, masks aren’t.

It’s really just public facing posturing, nothing more -
I had no idea Royal Up was a 3rd party vendor.

Your initial bid would be inconsequential to the bidding process. What you or anyone else paid is money already in the “bank”, all that matters now is how much more money can be put in the bank in the form of upgrade bids. From a simple math and finances standpoint, all parties bidding for an upgrade are on the same footing.

vaccine booster - 14 day requirement
TXcruzer replied to stcmocruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
The third dose has nothing to do with a “fully vaccinated” status. The policy states you must have final dose of your vaccine 14 days prior to embarkation. This would equate to second dose of Moderna or Pfizer or first dose of J&J. Receiving a booster shot does not change your status. -

Repricing Discussion, TA or no TA, Alert Sites
TXcruzer replied to pmh's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I got 2 price drops on my upcoming LOTS trip. The first one, my TA just sent me an email with a new invoice (prior to final payment) reflecting new price and a note saying there was a price adjustment. The second (after final payment) I noticed a lower price when I was booking dining package (I always do a quick mock booking anytime I am logged on the site), shot me TA a quick email, and 45 minutes later the OBC showed up in my cruise planner. -

allure returns in 2026 All Things Galveston
TXcruzer replied to Galveston Steve's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Thats exciting, have never used their product, but it is a good looking ship, just did a couple mock bookings, seems a little pricey, but I guess it is what it is when you are booking the newest and shiniest.- 965 replies

Matt's advice about home tests is great, BUT ...
TXcruzer replied to adwo41's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I really do not see a lack of communications. It is pretty black and white on the website, if cruising from a North American port, you must be vaccinated if over 12, and have an antigen or PCR test no older than 2 days upon boarding. -

The company that does the proctoring is not licensed to do business outside of the US, even if you got the tests.
