I am in precisely the same situation - passport expires June 23 and have a cruise on May 26.
The good news is, I have taken 7 cruises since I was within the 6 month exclusion time period and no one has even brought up the 6 month thing.  We boarded EX on Sat - no problem.
Since I am in sketchy waters, I brought along my BC this time JUST in case, but did not need it.  I will do the same again next month JUST in case.  Then I will immediately mail out the renewal paperwork as soon as we return from our May cruise.  I have already had my photo done, completed the online renewal application and have an addressed envelope ready to go.  Since we have a cruise on Serenade on July 6 there is little to no hope that the new passport will be back in time….so I am prepared to cruise with my BC in July.

Since there are three different Carribean cruise destinations it would be nice to split the search options. I’m looking for a southern cruise for maybe next year. So I think it would be easier if they broke out the search option to western eastern and southern. That instead of just Caribbean cruises. Just an idea to make searching easier.

I was talking to a friend today who just came off a ship this morning.  He is a frequent cruiser.  He recognized some things have changed but we both agreed that the food is still better than what's available in our respective kitchens at home.

I'm personally not a fan of the aft facing CLS because the views are mostly the sports court and mini golf course. I've never had a problem with being that high up, but I'm not particularly prone to motion sickness. 

i am prone to motion sickness and have yet to feel sick in a crown loft suite.
whether that was because we were on such a large vessel, or near the aft of the ship, or that we had a side facing (ocean view) — never any issues. 
now, being on a lower deck, closer to the front of the ship — yeah. felt that, big time. even on an oasis class ship. 

We got the RoyalUp to a CLS on Harmony last year and had one of the aft facing.  Really thought it would be more of an issue and it was not.  You can still see out to the water and it is pretty open.  We thought it we ever did one of the CLS we would absolutely book a side facing, and while that is still our preference it would not be a deal breaker now that we have stayed in one of the aft facing.  
Funny thing is we did the Royal Loft Suite last fall and we spent as much time or more on the aft facing portion of the veranda as the more private side portion.  
If motion is a concern, we can’t share much as we have never had an issue even with stormy seas.  If it is really rough it seems to me that you will feel it pretty much anywhere.  If you are sensitive to the ships motion it may make a difference but since the oasis class is so big it really takes a lot.
 
 

This is definitely worth it just for the all access tour. It’s around $160.00 per person on my May HOS cruise.  My question is if hundreds of people purchase this how are they going to accompany all of them? If you buy just the tour it is only available on two days. 

Seems a little early but just received my royal up email for my May 20th on HOS. Looks like they must use generic email since every suite is listed for upgrade. Doing a mock booking there’s only two suites available. But gave it a shot to upgrade from my junior suite.
