  1. This is correct. The app becomes more “accurate” the closer to your sail date. Mine did not show everything until just a day or two before sailing.
  2. Like others said, log in and "link" your reservations. You can call them too (from the faq page) - Reservations for groups can be made by calling 1-800-465-3595
  3. I also have this card and use the reward points for OBC. It works for us. I use it for cruise purchases etc for the double points.
  4. Like Twangster said, many will only go to the airport. We sailed on Navigator recently, and had a rental car for a few days prior to the cruise. We found it really easy to drop the bags at the port first, return the rental car, then uber back to the ship. We used Sixt for the rental car. They have a return location 3 minutes from the port. It was about15 minutes to drop the bags, return the car, uber back to the port, and board the ship. Enterprise also has very close locations too. They only have an airport shuttle though, but an uber Lyft would be easy.
  5. Eagerly following along. We loved our Anthem cruise, and have wanted to go to Bermuda for a while now. The Deadpool references are icing on the cake!! (Love those movies!!)
  6. We are Feb 21st in the same cabin!
  7. Phew, that was a close one. I know you guys are party animals ??
  8. Try not to wreck the place. I’ll be in that same cabin in February ’21!
  9. There is also the specific area for smaller kids that does not have an entry fee. Captain Jacks Galleon, and a splash pad area that has slides etc too. My 6 and 9 year old spent hours there and had plenty of fun. I think your 4y/o will find this perfect, and is included with your cruise fare. Here is a picture of just a portion of that area. There are more slides behind this as well
  10. Following along as well. I have to wait for February 2021 for our first star class experience. We will also be in a ATS2BR, except on Oasis.
  11. Most of the airports (if not all) in Europe have currency exchange locations, so you can bring USD to change to Euros, or like other people have said, I would find a credit card with low or no foreign transactions fees and use those for most purchases.
  12. Gregg, I’m also a Greg. We sailed on Anthem in February 2018 since we are from NY. We had a great time. There are plenty of things to do on the ship. While an Oasis class may have more, quantum holds its own with activities. ifly, bumper cars, North Star, sports plex etc. I liked the bands in the music hall. 270 is really cool. I also felt that the first and last sea days weren’t terrible weather wise. Sail away was chilly, but being from upstate NY, it was sunny, mid 40’s so felt like a heat wave. The last sea day I was still wearing short sleeves and it felt comfortable. The are indoor pools on Anthem so you won’t miss out on that either. Welcome to the boards!
  13. Anywhere you want except the water park. You only have to pay for something if you go to the water park, or rent a cabana/beach bed etc. there are plenty of lounge chairs everywhere that you can grab. I was just there a few weeks ago and there were two ships in port with a passenger load higher than an Oasis class ship, and while wandering I saw plenty of empty chairs.
  14. When we cruised Anthem, we had an early dinner seating as well. Just inform your waiter that you want to make the show, and they will push your meal out faster for you. I also believe WWRY has two shows per night too to wrap around the MDR seatings. like others said, we pre-booked the three main shows ahead of time and then adjusted as needed. (Feel free to skip The Gift, you won’t miss much) The bands in the music hall are very good too. They swap during the week, so it isn’t the same one the whole time, so you get multiple options.
  15. Like twangster said, Boston is easy to walk around and explore. It’s one of my favorite cities. There are a great many local watering holes with so much history to them. You can hit many of these while walking the freedom trail. Quincy market is right there too.
  16. It’s about 35 hours to get from Coco Cay to Puerto Rico assuming she sails at max speed the whole time. This all based on google, so it could be longer. As twangster said, they need to leave on time for these farther ports.
  17. I'm a paid firefighter/paramedic. I work 24hr shifts which give me large blocks of days off.
  18. Its a good thing I only work 1 day that week. We are considering grabbing that suite as well!
  19. I just looked at that sailing, and there are still some of those suites available. There were no grand suites, so you may be successfull with your royal up and could get a grand suite, or end up in another one. (if they dont get sold between now and then) IMHO, I wouldnt pay $2200 for Coastal Kitchen. I would get the UDP and consider room service for breakfast etc, and use the rest of the budgeted $2200 for excursions, or another cruise.
  20. Thanks for reading! We were in the same situation. When we booked, the reviews seemed good. Now, after our stay, we probably wouldnt stay there again. Good luck with your stay, I hope it is less adventurous than ours. Enjoy your cruise!
  21. That would drive me nuts too. Sounds like he may not be providing the best service. The nice thing is that you don’t have to stick with them. I’ve done cruises doing all the work myself, and now have two booked with Michele at MEI. They support this site, and she has been easy to work with so far. Something to think about for the next ones!
  22. Ooooh, I guess I got lucky with my night 4 lamb shank on Navigator!!
  23. Welcome to the boards. I think you will find plenty of things to do together. Oasis class ships have so much to offer. Look at the cruise planner to see all the activities offered and you will quickly find things to do. You can check out the cruise planner part on this site to see ones that were uploaded by other cruisers to get an idea what is out there. Don’t stress about it and enjoy your cruise, and Happy Anniversary when it comes!
  24. You are correct. As @Matt and others will attest, booking as far as in advance as possible will usually yield the best results for a lower price. ( I booked Oasis almost 2 years in advance) Cruises are priced based on demand, as the ship starts filling up, supply is lower, demand becomes higher and prices will go up. I would still watch sales etc, but you don’t necessarily need to obsess over them. Sign up for their emails because they will alert you to sales and it’s not a lot of effort to call them to see if you qualify for a better rate. It’s also beneficial to occasionally make up mock bookings to see if there is a general drop in price separate for the sales too. I have repriced my Oasis cruise twice now and knocked about $600 off. Over all though, if as you said, you are happy with the price you paid, then you can also sit back, relax and wait for embarkation day and not worry about it. Happy Cruising!!
