I think you are correct, we will have a blast (we are not doing anytime dining)!  Never been on a cruise with a group before so really looking forward to it.  Depart two weeks from today!  Can’t wait!

Have done Disney and Princess but this will be our first cruise with Royal.  We have 54 adults and children from our neighborhood cruising together and should have a blast!  Can’t stand the waiting, ready to go now!

Yep. My sailing is Saturday, so those that rolled the dice or figured 30% will be back again missed out on the lowest possible price. 

Leaving in 18 days and my experience is exactly this.

Did the same thing.  Booked black friday prices for next weeks cruise.  Memorial day sale works out to be $3 a day savings for us.  $21 is $21 bucks.
Kind of a hassle to cancel and rebook everything on RC's crappy web site.  But I got it done.  Now just waiting to make sure my refund to my CC gets processed properly.

This is what we did also.  One drink package and 1 drink package with Voom.

Doesn't make sense.  By purchasing the package, we saved $40, not the other way around.  I would call the RCL agent and ask the question.  I found them to be very helpful.

You need to look at it a little differently.  The soda/coffee/bottled water package on my cruise is running at 20.99.  I got my DBP for 47, or 26 more, hence 2 alcoholic bevs per day.  If you are not going to drink any soda, fresh OJ, specialty coffee and bottled water than you would basically need to drink 4-5 alcoholic bev per day.  

We figured if we have a mimosa or Bloody Mary in the morning, a couple of drinks poolside during the day and a couple of glasses of wine at dinner we break even.  Then you have the bottled water, special coffee, soda etc.

We just booked our first RCL cruise on Enchantment this coming October.  Have been on the Emerald Princess and the Disney Wonder, both smaller ships.  I would assume Enchantment is roughly the size of these two?
