I believe they renovated Embassy Suites recently. 

I had heard that but all the recent pics that I have found, it still looks like the old Embassy suites. ??‍♀️

Definitely recommend Embassy Suites also.  Have stayed there 3 times and have never had a bad experience.  And you cannot beat the free breakfast.  If you are lucky enough to have a room on the upper floors and on one of the sides (do not know exactly which one) it faces the port and if up early in the a.m., you can see the ships pulling into port and docking.

+1 on the Holiday Inn Express on 17th Street. Embassy is more run down (IMO). Renaissance is also nice (also on 17th street and even closer to the port) but I would not stay there if I had my kids with me. It’s not as kid friendly there. We’ve done both Renaissance and Holiday Inn Express.

Not really, I will be on Navigator in June and the waterpark price is $131.99.

The prices have been fluctuating a lot lately.  We have what we want sorted for our time there.  The waterpark cabana still holding at $499 compared to $999 when they 1st came available to book.  Being our 1st RC cruise and 1st time to Coco Cay we decided to pay the extra for the passes and a personal space for our family to hang out.  Definitely not elite over here, just splurging a little on vacation.

Aqua theater suite. They are on the aft of the ship, and you can watch the show from your balcony. 

OMG I am SOOOO wanting to book one of those 12 night cruises to Greece and Israel.   I had to force myself to close the browser and step away from the keyboard....

Booking while onboard helps beat the cruise blues when your current sailing is over. There may still be tears, but it's a little easier to get off the ship on debarkation morning when you already have another cruise on your calendar. ?

Steer away from ALL CARNIVAL Ships...…   ???

I hope this goes into effect.  I would like to go to the casino and try my hand at the tables, but not at the risk of my clothes, hair, etc. coming out smelling like an ashtray.  I am a former smoker so I get the addiction, its a nightmare.  But, I firmly believe that there needs to be a designated area away from the main attractions of the ships.  Also it needs to be outside so the smoke can not permeate through the ship.  The smell of cigarette/cigar smoke now gives me a terrible headache.  The less it is in common areas like the casino the better. 
I also think that there would not be a dip in the money taken in by the casino.  The potential loss of smokers playing would potentially be replaced by non-smoking payers.
