Yes, that is correct. However, when we priced up the equivalent itinerary and cabin on Anthem to match our cancelled Independence sailing, it was a lot more expensive! No additional compensation was available.

At least I'm not too concerned about that ... sorry @Jason12  However, I think this American Administration likes Britain!

I think they will do the presidents cruise week before the TA and hopefully sail with guests back to Miami ?
btw Spain is doing fantastic  now very low numbers all round and some days zero deaths

I was thinking more of the possibility of an American Administration that isn’t exactly into globalization and may continue international travel bans we’ll into the latter parts of this year. You in the UK may be set to get into Spain, but may have more trouble being admitted into the US.

I phoned Australia RC and they said very soon maybe this week, one great thing about having to call Australia is they pick up immediately checked three bookings all done in 4 minutes ?

Yes Spain and lots more are opening over next few weeks, all local airlines are flying to holiday destinations by end of month  ? so hopefully we will be sailing over to Miami in November ?

@Jason12 It wouldn't hurt to call them about the FCC.  I never did receive an email about the FCC.  When I called, I was told that it was processed 3 weeks before and they applied the FCC to a cruise that was already booked --- the Allure TA in fact.  I had a remaining balance on that cruise that was less than the FCC.  When the FCC was applied, I received a $700 refund from the Allure TA.  Tell me that Spain is opening up so Allure will have guests back to Miami.

Don’t worry, even those of us who got them they weren’t correct so they had to go back and try to fix them, it’s been weeks waiting on that. 

Our May 30th cruise was canceled by RC on April 26th.  They promised the FCC by 5/22 and we received it 5 days late on 5/27.  They said the refund of port fees and taxes would be about 45 days. That would have been about June 1st but here on 6/7 we haven’t received it yet.  With tens of thousands of transaction to process I’m not surprised it’s late.  Hoping to get it some time this month, if not I’ll start calling ?

Yes I’ve booked 4 cruise now from the Australian site no problems ? only downside is you have to phone Australia for any questions or issues but my mobile phone only costs 3p a minute and they answer so fast ?

Jason, does the Australian website allow us Brits to book directly via it, I like you I suspect are frustrated by the inflated prices RC charges us here in the UK.

I like that idea! I'd like to know the hotels closest to Port Everglades. That seems to be my choice of ports when we cruise. I always fly in the day of, but this year, I plan on arriving a day early and would like to plan on that from now on.

If you booked directly you can use the online form to cancel I’ve done two and worked as it should, if you used a travel agent then contact them..?
