  1. Agreed. Labadee is getting somewhat tiresome. I love a good beach day, but some new things ,especially a pool, would be nice to have and better food would be nice, as well.
  2. Following as well. Enjoy the cruise, some of us are dealing w/ nasty snow
  3. Following as well. We were deciding between the Adventure and Freedom for this upcoming March 2020 cruise to the ABC islands, leaving out of San Juan to the Southern Caribbean. We decided on Freedom, primarily due to its size and its a newer ship with it being newly amped up, compared to Adventure. Curious about the dining and open deck areas in particular.
  4. You need the water park passes to access the cabana in the water park. Bummer, I know
  5. We have a cruise on Harmony of the Seas in June 2020 (2 adults + 2 kids) and our cabana in the water park,, which we are sharing w/ another couple (2 adults) is priced at $999.00 + water park passes has been at this price for about 5 months now and I'm not expecting it to lower in price. Its a bit pricey, but when we are returning next year on Allure, we'll probably skip the cabana. Its a nice, item to have , but not wouldn't ruin our trip, if we don't have one. We went to Volcano Bay at Universal Studios last year and it was a nice perk to have, since it did rain for an hour or 2 in the afternoon.
  6. same question. I've heard of them, but not sure what they are
  7. Great views from the zip lines
  8. Our family (2 adults + 2 kids - 14 yrs and 8 yrs) went to Mayan Princess in Roatan last year during spring break on Symphony of the Seas and it was a nice experience. It was a 20 minute bus ride to the resort. We had beach chairs + umbrella, unlimited drinks from the bar (limited bar menu, which was 3 beer choices, about 10 mixed drinks, and soda). Lunch was ok, nothing special,: hamburgers and hotdogs for the kids, chicken w/ rice and beans for the adults and a salsa bar + chips. We were there for about 4 hrs. The beach was very clean, great for swimming and the sand was very soft (no rocks) for the kids. It was also nice to walk along the shoreline. Would recommend the excursion, which we purchased through RC.
  9. Same with me and my wife. We mention it on the survey with every cruise
  10. What's the age range for wearing the vests. My 8 yr old is on the swim team and swims all 4 strokes, does she need to wear one? Is it optional?
  11. My daughter loves strawberries and was able to get a bowl of strawberries at each dinner, the fruit salad she got had 1 strawberry cut in half. We mentioned it to our waiter and he made sure, she got a bowl of 10 or so strawberries at each dinner + 2 plates of chocolate dipped strawberries on formal nights without asking. Her eyes lighted up.
  12. Years ago, we saw Richard Simmons on a Carnival cruise. He was hosting a cruise to lose on the trip.
  13. Agreed, cruising during the school break holidays, is a big challenge for our budget, including the flights, since we live no where near a port
  14. Thanks for the photos and the cruise compass photos , and the MDR menus
  15. Following as well. I haven't been on Brillance since my 12 night European Med cruise in May 2013. Looking forward to see photos of her again
  16. Do you need to bring your soda cup and do they have the freestyle machines or just go up to the bar and show them your card w/ the package imprinted on it?
  17. 100% agreement, so many things to see and do and eat
  18. Completely agree, please keep the food pictures coming
