  1. Personally, I would still be comfortable with that flight time. My procedure for Port of Seattle has always been 1) self debark with all luggage, 2) walk or taxi to the light rail (depending on the pier we're docked at), and 3) light rail comfortably all the way to the airport. Should take less than 60 minutes after you get off the ship, even if you're docked at Pier 91.
  2. I think you're right with the extra selective comment -- I don't see any discounts of more than a couple of dollars on my cruises.
  3. My guess is this is a bit of old code that resurfaced. I seem to recall when Oasis was brand new she had her own searchable tag.
  4. Welcome to the boards! Start here with your Galveston questions: Enjoy your cruise!
  5. We've done one of these before, and it was actually barely noticable. For people who get on at the first embarcation point, the second one is just a port day like any other. You do see suitcases in the halls for departure the night before, at bit, but all that did was give me a "hooray, I'm not leaving yet!" feeling ?
  6. You'll be fine -- they'll understand you (even if they think you sound like a yokel). But you may struggle to understand them, depending on where in Spain! Most of the touristy port cities there will be English speakers, picture menus, signs in multiple languages, stuff like that. Enjoy!
  7. My guess is they're all full. Or "full", if capacity is being limited.
  8. We always bid when it's available, and always the minimum. We're at 50% success rate over 6 cruises, always from a JS to a higher suite of some kind. We treat it as a "oh how cool!" rather than a "drat!" if we win. Anything else will just lead to disappointment. Definitely call your TA if the upgrade is important to you!
  9. And first on/off the plane, and not having to sit next to a stranger… ?
  10. $55 a night is very steep. I have found that specifically for internet packages, checking regularly matters most. The past few years, every time I've gotten a good deal it has been when there was no official sale. For point of reference, I consider $18-$24USD per night a good price for 4 devices. Hope that helps!
  11. The only one out there right now (on Royal) having more than one stop in South Korea is the announced Wonder route on November 25, 2022 -- it stops in both Jeju and Busan.
  12. As long as the particular bar you're at has a blender, they will be happy to make them for you!
  13. I've stayed there. It was a minute ago (read: like about 15 years ago), but it was a perfectly acceptable hotel. I would stay there again. Location is actually pretty good.
  14. Welcome to the blog! It is only for dinner.
  15. Having once been college age (although never male ?), I can personally attest that no matter how good of friends you are, 5 adults in one cabin is too many. Definitely look at connecting/adjacent rooms!
  16. Please add: December 24, 2021 - Radiance June 20, 2022 - Jewel
  17. You can still use the UDP on the holidays, but at least Chops, and possibly some other venues, will be doing a Holiday Celebration Dinner instead of normal service. Those are not included in the UDP. You can still have lunch in whatever specialty restaurants are open that day, too.
  18. It appears the only water package offered now is with Dasani.
  19. Oh man, this itinerary makes me wish I still lived in that region! Anyone looking to cruise Wonder, I highly recommend this particular sailing!
  20. I would pick Radiance hands down (we were on her fairly recently for a South Pacific trip) EXCEPT for your comment about Christmas and New Years -- I love love love those holidays on a cruise. So that would be the decider for me ?
  21. Here's hoping you are her favorite child! ?
  22. They offered it on Spectrum when we sailed her. There was at least one session each day. It was very popular in the Asian market!
