  1. Wowsa... that's a lot of time at home with our kids....love them to death but they are exhausting! If our kids cant go to school, there is no way we will be allowed to travel IMO. When do they normally finish? We go all the way till end of june.
  2. In quebec Canada we have had our kids out of school for 2 weeks and at least another 5 more weeks to go. As healthcare workers we have also been asked not to travel till at least the (end) summer. Oh...and the borders are closed...lol. Everything but essential services open. And they want to start giving fines to people for social gathering over 2 people... Oy... I need a cruise...
  3. My positive thought.. we had to cancel our easter cruise on harmony. However looking to reschedule to dec where family will be able to join, and I will be celebrating my 8 year cancer free anniversary on board!
  4. Usually bottom of the page on cruise compasses
  5. I'm certainly not trying to start a fight, but I'm interested at when people think we are likely to be able to resume cruise vacations?? ( and please everyone remember this is just peoples opinions or guesses....stay nice! Lol)
  6. Our government has asked all health care workers to avoid international travel.... that's both my husband and I. Didnt have much of a choice to cancel.
  7. Even if I think its total overkill...how do you not cancel if you are told that??? So annoying.
  8. That's my feeling. Places like china, italy, etc are level 3. Havent seen anything like that officially about cruises...
  9. And touching the same hand rail in any ride which changes passengers every 3 min. A ship is disinfected countless times a day....all this to say... I'm annoyed! Lol
  10. It's frustrating because they have such negatives to say about cruising. Yet if we were going to disney for the week I feel like they would think too much about it.
  11. May I ask how her dept feels about her going on a cruise? Have they mentioned anything about not being able to work after? We are in quebec canada. And as of right now we only have 3 /4 confirmed cases.
  12. I know everyone makes their own decision but interested what people sailing mid april are thinking. I really have no fear of getting it but the quarantine idea scares me. And worrying my daughters school maybe gets freaked out when we come back and force her to quarantine. And I dont look forward to the judgemental looks from friends or coworkers. It's just a flu...and I'm a healthcare worker watching our hospital turn to panic mode and im still not worried. I got H1N1 when it went around and am very much here to tell the tale. Everyone on the ships say it's totally fine and I trust that....just wish it fixed itself. Like either cancel them all or continue with business as usual.
  13. Me too! My poor 4 year old spent the whole time saying it's too hot mommy!
  14. Cant wait to hear how it worked, or if it worked. Any updates?
  15. We are always in the sweltering heat of the aqua theater! Lol
  16. Boleros as you said has amazing mojitos. Coconut mojito was my favorite. And schooner bar makes a fantastic grapefruit habanero daiquiri!
  17. You can do it on the app? I thought kiosk or at restaurant only.
  18. Right! Like put that drink package to good use! Haha
  19. I find the height restriction so weird on RC. The kids need to be 42 inches to go down the tiny splashaway bay slide that are like 6 feet high. But grow an extra 2 inches and you can go down a closed 150 foot slide.
  20. Feel like 2020 sialings are automatically higher. Last year we got 46 on symphony, this year our sailing on harmony hasnt went below 61.
  21. So from experience it's really not that hard to make it worth while. We booked one on our last cruise and I loved it. It depends what you drink. If beer it takes more to make it break even. I only drink cocktails so never found it difficult. Mimosa and latte in am. Couple cocktails by pool. Always had a pre dinner drink while getting ready. 2 at dinner and maybe 1 during the show. And often a coffee after. And this is not to mention all the bottled waters we took and stashed in our room for excursions. Having access to the freestyle machines was nice as well...has some great flavoured waters. If you are going to coco cay or labadee it's a HUGE added bonus! I enjoyed that I could try drinks and if I didnt like it I just didnt finish it! Having paid for it ahead of time was also nice knowing there would be no bill at disembarkation. Enjoy your trip!
  22. We walked into 150 CP and just ordered 2 of the urban garden martinis and they were more then happy to make it at the cart and give us to go!
  23. And they close a bunch of streets downtown to traffic because of festivities in the streets
