  1. Interesting...thought I’d share... This first photo clearly shows the price... the second photo is after I checked out...for 3 people...did NOT use OBC credit...
  2. just say no to cold water. i'm a freeze baby too. and in regards to feeling refreshed...i've never felt refreshed in water that tastes like sweat. LOL I prefer a nice chlorine smell/taste. LOL
  3. We're going in July and I've rented the beach loungers for 2...they are the blue and white "clamshell" looking things with 2 loungers in the above photos...
  4. Following. And my own question added here ( i hope that's ok). My hubby is going to the Waterpark with our 2 16yo boys...does he have to stay IN the waterpark the whole time with them? or can he come to the beach with me for a while? I've rented the beach loungers for 2.
  5. Highlights Full-day rental: Spend the day lounging in your own comfortable retreat with personalized service. So much included: Enjoy two floating beach mats, a cooler stocked with water, beach towels and a Cabana Attendant on hand to bring you drinks. Ideal location: Relax in beautiful, remote Columbus Cove; family fun is close by at Dragon’s Splash Water Slide and Arawak Aqua Park. What to Bring SeaPass card and photo identification Camera Sun protection Cash/credit cards Insect repellent What to Wear Swimsuit and cover-up or light clothing Hat and sunglasses Important Notes Pricing is per bungalow, not per person. Transportation to and from Beach Bungalows is via Labadee tram or tender boat service to Nellies, with a short walk to Columbus Cove. Complimentary buffet lunch available at Columbus Cove Café, Dragon’s Café or Café Labadee. Rental of a Beach Bungalow does not include access to the Barefoot Beach Cabana Club Avoid alcohol before water activities. Guest must be 21 years old to consume alcohol. Maximum eight guests per Beach Bungalow. Guest should note this area is not private. MY QUESTIONS: 1. for transportation to and from Beach Bungalows...is it walkable the whole way? 2. how long of a walk to the buffet lunch places? 3. our drink package works there? 4. is there a map of this area somewhere that I've missed? 5. are there "better" ones in terms of location?
  6. I'm excited! We're going in July with our boys...they are going to enjoy the waterpark...I, however, am going to enjoy the beach and the pool...sans boys. amen.
  7. Thanks...that's good to know. We specifically waited until July to book hoping that everything we wanted the 16yo boys to do would be open.
  8. We are needing to book excursions for our July Perfect Day at Coco Cay...do we have any current update on when the Thrill Waterpark will be open? AND if we book it (the Thrill Waterpark) and it's NOT complete, will we get a refund? would that refund be OBC? or an actual refund of our money?
  9. depends...are you purchasing any of the other drink packages? do you like regular brewed coffee? I had a couple cups of it on each cruise, and it's not offensive when i remember it's "just brewed coffee".
  10. i had this problem with something else last week...i could only open something in a different browser...try clearing your cookie cache... I'm not techy, so don't get mad if this isn't "correct" LOL
  11. our first cruise it was just a short cheap cruise...it was for our Parents 50th anniversary and it was all about just being with them and my brother and his wife as adults with no kids. Second cruise was our 25th Anniversary, so we chose dates/itinerary. 3rd cruise was a "last minute" by dates first of all then, looked at the itinerary/ship that appealled most. 4th cruise (In July 2019) is specifically for our 16yo DS's first cruise and we chose Perfect Day at CocoCay because of all the things to do. 5th cruise (in November 2019) is based on ship/itinerary. So...that's MY answer. LOL
  12. to kind of piggy back on @2Beeze and @WannaCruise "vacations are funny and differ by person"...each of us has our own ideas of what "vacation" means to us. I have found these forums to have a WEALTH of information, lots of great people willing to answer my questions...all to help me decide what I want out of each vacation. I love that there are so so many options with RC that we could ALL go on the SAME cruise and all do different things and still all enjoy ourselves.
  13. That's exactly one of the things I will mention. For me, I don't drink on a regular basis in "real life". I might have a "special" drink for our anniversary somewhere...but when I'm on a cruise I do enjoy the pretty, fruity, tropical drinks...I do appreciate the convenience, NOT necessarily the COST SAVINGS, of having everything paid for ahead of time.
  14. this has been discussed a lot here...but my opinion...book with Next Cruise, there is a discounted deposit and sometimes more OBC toward the next one...then you can transfer to your TA, if wanted.
  15. I do like the idea of sharing it with others I'm cruising with AND being able to use it on a next cruise...however, if coffee if involved...i won't share and i won't have any leftover. LOL
  16. Check the fine print on the gift certificates. We purchased a couple GC's to use toward paying on our cruise and found out that they had to be used ONLY for booking a new cruise...NOT paying on an already booked cruise. Not that yours are like that, but just make sure you read the fine print associated directly with the gift certificates you have.
  17. We always do the spa tour on embarkation day also and sign up for the drawing for prizes. Haven't won anything yet, but when my brother and his wife cruise, they have twice won a couples massage. My hubby and I did have a couples massage on embarkation day of our 25th anniversary cruise, at a discount, and it was nice and probably on par, price wise with the more pricey places here at home.
  18. Nope...$84 after shipping and everything from eBay! whoopwhoop!!!
  19. Yes, those drinks are included in the Refreshment Package. That's what I get each time...then IF i DO want a drink with alcohol, say a glass of wine with dinner, I pay OOP or use OBC. But my drink of choice is the iced lattes...always...every day...all day. amen.
  20. We are also usually fans of Samsonite and American Tourister...however, we did just purchase a Coleman hard side that we are very please with...
  21. We booked both of our cruises this year while on our cruise in December...We loved that we could book 2 cruises for a reduced deposit AND got a little bit more OBC.
