  1. I am wondering how UDP will work on Icon. There is a long list of places with upcharges, but the only two places that looks like the a la carte will work is Playmakers and PIER7. With 3 of us, we will have $60 to spend, but being limited to just Playmakers is not a great option. No Johnny Rockets, Mason Jar or Port Side BBQ. Below is the list of places with charged food items. The only place on that list that is in the list of exclusions is Izumi in the park. Basecamp Desserted Giovanni's Wine Bar (Snacks) Izumi in the park (in the list of exclusions) PIER7 Playmakers Sugar Beach Trellis Bar
  2. Good point about the other specialty booking. My last cruise on Oasis I was the first in line at Izumi and made my Izumi reservation and I had booked two more. I didn't even realize, the long line that gathered behind me. I should have booked my Izumi and moved on.
  3. Does the unlimited dining cover the snacks at the bar?
  4. I agree that it is so much food. I don't remember what ship we were on when we did this. But my wife loves the Chops Key Lime Pie and we dined somewhere else that night, but on the way back to our room we walked past Chops and they packed up some Key Lime pie to go for my wife.
  5. Do you know where it is? I can't seem to find it on the deck plans.
  6. Does Icon have a concierge/suite lounge? I am contemplating a Sky Class suite and would like to know if they have a suite lounge that offers drinks during the day or happy hour and where is it located?
  7. Thanks. I didn't read the entire letter. So the suite bed is 73" x 48" while a standard double bed is 75" x 54".
  8. We are currently on Oasis and had dinner tonight at Chops. They came around to take our dessert order and I joked can my wife get the Pavlova from Jamie’s as it is her all time favorite. Oasis has Giovanni’s ans we had dinner at there the night before and it was good but not as good as Jamie’s. Even my wife agrees. And I mentioned my preference to Jamie’s to the Chops waiter, and my wife was saying I was wrong to share my opinion. Am I the A Hole?
  9. Does anyone know what time Blue Lagoon closes? Our port time is 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The website says it a 5 hr excursion, so can I assume this includes the travel time to and from the island?
  10. Thank you. One more question. The way I read it, is if I cancel a specialty dining while onboard. Those funds are transferred to onboard credit. Will I be able to use that credit to pay for gratuities for another cabin?
  11. I wouldn't book all 9 nights. But locking down the 1 night I want makes sense. What is the cancellation policy for paid dining? If I book something on night 4, can I cancel it when I get on board and get a refund?
  12. I am sailing on August 4th Oasis 9 night cruise out of Cape Liberty and I am trying to figure out the MDR menu rotation and formal nights. I see some references for 9 night cruise menu rotations but not sure how this translates to other ships. Question 1: Is there a way to know what our rotation will be? I also have another question. My last cruise on Symphony, we had the Unlimited Dining and when I showed up early on day 1 and tried to book dining for the rest of the cruise, most nights were booked and Izumi Hibachi wasn't available at all for the entire cruise. The manager said I should have booked it online before I boarded but when I try to do that it wants to charge me. Question 2: Can you book UDP reservations for the entire cruise before the sailing and how?
  13. I need some help. My Coco Beach Club finally went down from $198 to $99 and there are 4 of us. So I am paying $396 for Beach Club. And thanks to another post showing the cabanas at $399. I wonder if the Beach Club is the way to go. Would you choose for roughly the same price, Oasis/South Beach or Chill Island Cabana over the Beach Club? And which Cabana?
