Hey guys, been a while....
Our last cruise was supposed to be back in 2020 but then things got a little crazy. Since then our family has grown and we haven't had a chance to book a cruise until now.
Date isn't until 2024 but I haven't really been paying attention to things as much as when we where active.
I was wondering if sales around Drinks Packages/Excursions/etc have seen any standard date as to when they would be on offer at a reduced price or are these sales still pretty much at the whim of RC without much Rhyme or Reason

Constant sales, and Black Friday. Most folks check frequently, buy when reasonable, and cancel/rebook if prices drop. PS. Popular stuff can sell out early.

My rule of thumb for dining was a nice pair of dark jeans or chinos and a buttoned collared shirt. I kept the shirt loose (1/2 size bigger than I would normally wear) so I was comfortable (and so I could indulge). I wouldn't do t-shirts for the main dining room or Chops but for Windjammer you'd be fine on that.
I will admit I do like to dress up (not like that :P) so when formal night rolls around I am all over it. Suited and Booted

With a heavy heart, it's officially confirmed that Royal is suspending operations for the next 30 days. We have not received the official email or communication from Royal, but it is on their Press Release website and the front page of royalcaribbeanblog.com
We were literally hours from heading to the airport this evening. Not sure what we are gonna do now - maybe a quick trip elsewhere - or just stay home.
Our next cruise is June on the Oasis. We changed from the new Ultimate Panoramic Suite to the Owner's Panoramic Suite. After reading several reviews and watching videos, the UPS seemed like it was a novelty that wore off after a day or so. The lack of balcony and the living room that is essentially an interior room eventually got to me. Some of the reviews also mentioned the noise from the solarium. Back to Deck 17 it is for the Owner's Panoramic!

You will be pretty much assured that anything you buy though the Cruise Planner will be cheaper than on board.
Book them at the lowest price you see and if a deal/sale appears on the cruise planner simply cancel the purchase you made previously, all your money gets refunded, and then book it again at the lower price. As to when these sales appear, you've just got to keep an eye out really

We just rebooked our 2020 cruise out of Southampton and saved over £3000 even after losing our £900 deposit. Was for 3 interior rooms  Being from the uk we can’t reprice but even losing the deposit we saved thousands! If you’re already booked reprice quick before they realise ?
