Thanks! What did you do past Fisherman's Wharf?
We walked into town and did some shopping and had lunch. It was a very enjoyable day!

We did not give Victoria much thought on our Alaskan cruise and had nothing planned. We walked into town past Fisherman's Wharf. We are so glad we did. It truly is a beautiful city.

We use the sofa bed with the lower trundle left down. It makes for a little more separation.

The 6 hour trip through otherwise unpopulated land.
How are the workers/vendors making the trip in?

Haiti's government declared a 72-hour state of emergency on Sunday after armed gangs stormed a major prison.
I love Labadee but I'm glad we don't have any upcoming stops here. I realize it is an a isolated part of Haiti but question the safety right now. If the gangs can storm a "major prison" what's stopping them here.

I'm enjoying your blog but now you got me looking at cup clips. They are sitting in my Amazon cart. I think I'm adding them to my cruise gadget stash. Wishing you smooth sailing from here on out!

We just booked a cruise for July and were given MTD. We always pick early seating, traditional dining but it was full. We were put on a waitlist for our desired dining. Within 2 days the app updated from MTD to traditional dining. I was pleasantly surprised how fast the waitlist worked. Hopefully yours will do the same. Good luck!

Another confusing thing is the Solurium Bistro became available to book on Wonder yesterday. Well, it popped up in CP but it says, 'We're stuffed! reservations are not currently available." I assumed since we are sailing around certain Jewish holidays it would be reserved for kosher dinning .
We are on your Wonder sailing. The Facebook group said it is Yeshiva week. The Solarium Bistro is serving Kosher meals all week. It is only available to those who booked a package.
We fly out next Saturday. It is a mess in Michigan this morning. Safe travels to you!

We are sailing on Wonder of the Seas, January 21st. I just checked the cruise planner. It is showing sold out for our sailing. The beach is not open yet...correct???
They are starting out the pricing very responsible. I'm sure it will go up just like the beach club pricing did.

I know exactly how you feel. This cruise has been a dream of mine for the last 5 years. And it was only because I got rated by the VA that I was able to afford to book this cruise. So while yes I do absolutely love the holidays, I can't wait for my first sailing
I'm excited for you to experience your first cruise! Are you a member of this sailing's Facebook page? They come up with a lot of good pointers and questions that may be helpful to you. And a reminder that check in opens December 7th.

We don’t buy much pre-cruise. Saved some money on a few Mason Jar brunches.
I was going to cancel and rebook our Mason Jar brunch. It is a whole $1 cheaper. Did you have any issues getting your same top slot? It looks like it is booking up on our sailing.

We've sailed out of Galveston twice. We uber to and from the port. When we disembark we walk right outside the port area to a little corner bar. We request an uber at that point. It is a quick pick up and we avoid all the port traffic.

We were on Allure a few weeks before this sailing. I'm so glad we missed it.
We have 2 upcoming cruises with venues closed(Solarium Bistro for the week) or partial charters booked that we discovered through the sailing's Facebook page. I'm sure we will not have any issues at all. However, I do wish there was a way of knowing about partial charters or venues being closed before booking. I guess I'm going to have to start googling the sailing before booking.

We stayed here in January. It was a nice hotel and great location. It was an easy walk over to Bourbon St. We plan on staying here again the next time we sail out of New Orleans.

f she told me she wanted to get off the ship, I'd book it in a heartbeat, there's no dollar value for that... but if she's just as happy on the ship (which should be nice and quiet on a port day), we can just chill in the Solarium, use our vouchers, and eat food we've already paid for.
We love staying on the ship during port days. We usually plan that into our cruise now. There is nothing like a relaxing day by the pool with everyone in port.
Paradise Beach does sell out. If you plan on going make sure you get reservations.

I still go back and forth on the best beach club in Cozumel. We have been to all of the big 3 several times and Paradise might be the best all around. Never had an issue at any of them but I suppose it’s hit or miss and heavily dependent on individual experiences. The only one we still haven’t tried is the small resort beach club located close by the pier (can’t recall the name but it gets good reviews).
I'll second that opinion. We have been to all the beach resorts in Cozumel. Paradise Beach is our go to spot now.

I'm enjoying your blog and all the pics. We sail Wonder for the first time in January. The only speciality dining we have booked is Mason Jar for brunch. The food and drinks all look amazing. I wish they had sampler plates. We will definitely have to narrow down what to order. Enjoy the rest of your sailing!

It was Lorenzo Lamas; my mother was obsessed with him and she said that he was getting married on Wonder.
I am glad you guys are relaxing, I feel like cruising turns us younger folks into vintages and vintages into daredevils . I always see older men on the Flowrider or ziplining while some younger person is relaxing in the pools or pool chairs.
I googled his name and the wedding invite showed up. There is an 80's heartthrob on board!

We booked this cruise as a casino comp cruise. Happy Sailing!

We asked our stateroom attendant once if he wanted some beer we had. He snatched them right up. It doesn't hurt to ask them if they want it.
