  2. No, if you are using a TA, they do the calling for you. I know of no particular site for price alerts. I usually check every couple of days (although my TA does too). I know what the sale banner advertised when I booked so that is usually an indication though not always.
  3. Maybe it’s not a good time for you to cruise. RC allows you to cancel for a full refund (not FCCs) if you are not comfortable with current protocols or other passengers’ compliance issues. Perhaps you should go that route. BTW my comment was “snooty” which means entitled not “snotty” indicating rude. Still think it applies.
  4. I see nothing wrong about reminding someone to put their mask over their nose in a POLITE AND FRIENDLY MANNER. But OP indicates in both instances an altercation was imminent which leads me to believe not friendly or polite. Registered for the site just to post this review about 6 weeks on board. Sounds fishy or at the very least, entitled to me.

Interesting, our first was a 7 day Bermuda but we were literally docked in Bermuda for 3 days so it didn’t feel like a 7 day cruise, more like a short (very rocky) cruise with a floating hotel in the middle. Then. 5 day out of Tampa which hubby immediately proclaimed too short, a 4 day out of PC with the grandson to see if he’d like it. Well he did and it was WAAAYTOOO (get how I did that?) short. Now it’s a 7 day on Harmony and an 8 day on Explorer for next year. Working my way up!
  6. Not new but before all hell broke loose, I was hoping to go to Cuba and Key West. Small dreams I know but I was really looking forward to those stops.

  8. Sorry but it makes absolutely no sense that the staff cannot ask someone to comply with mask protocols unless another passenger complains first. That’s ludicrous. You are not, nor is any passenger, the mask police.

  13. Posted on the other cruise board that the concierge is not making even dining reservations in advance for suites currently. The pre cruise letter is a welcome & introduction only? Any experience with this?
  14. Cortrans or Cruise Control Transportation both get excellent reviews. We have used Cortrans and the service worked very well. Both also pick up from MCO area hotels. We will fly in and take the (Marriott off Semoran ? Blvd) hotel shuttle. Lots of bars & restaurants in safe easy walking distance. Complementary breakfast in the AM and the port shuttle picks us up at the hotel. Many more hotel choices in various price ranges there and I’m not hanging out at the airport all evening.
  15. Your prepaid gratuities have nothing to do with the drink package. Those do not go to the bar staff. When you purchase the drink package, you will be charged 18% on the price. If you pay as you go for drinks, 18% will be added to each drink.
  16. Got a spacious balcony for hubby, 10 year old grandson and myself. It was anything but. So cramped I wouldn’t even let the room steward pull out the sofa bed. Never again!
  17. No harm in TRYING. Just go in with low expectations. It may work one night & not the next. If you are polite and they can accommodate you, they will.

  22. I would think 2 months out, they’re PROBABLY accurate. But menus can and do change even when things are “normal” so be flexible if you can.
  23. Matt, have you been on EVERY cruise since the restart???
  24. And she/he didn’t give you a backup agent to contact if necessary?
