When is the best time to book the beverage package? We are not sailing till July 2024 but I want to know when to start checking for the best deal.
When you find it at a price you feel is worth it. The key is to constantly check your cruise planner...We check ours at least 3 times a week and even have a spreadsheet to track it. We currently have four cruises booked but so far, we feel the price of the beverage package it too high and not cost effective for us. We will keep monitoring it.

it used to be a TSA rule that you couldn’t go through TSA security till 4 hours before your flight or check your luggage. We unfortunately found this at San Juan along with lots of other travelers. A stern elderly lady would not let you get in the TSA security line till EXACTLY 4 hours before our flight.

There is no way to know that. I know a lot of people that have been on one cruise in their life. And I have asked and their overwhelming reply is "it was OK."
And we have asked lots of first time cruisers and their response was yes and can’t wait to cruise again. We have never talked to anyone who said no…No more cruises for us.

Our first cruise is this November, and as the date started getting closer, we began thinking of maybe doing more cruises. However we are on edge with the idea since we don’t know if we will enjoy the cruise enough to want to do multiple cruises per year.
I think I will want to do more cruises, but my wife is more hesitant. When you went on your first cruise, was the experience more awesome than you imagined, that it encouraged you to book more cruises? Or did you just make cruising a once in every 2 years type thing? Thanks.
Cruises are ADDICTING!!! Once you step on that ship and look around...Eat all the fantastic food...Enjoy all the entertainment...You'll be back.

Our advice is...RELAX! Plan as much as you want but be flexible and know you might not be able to do everything on the ship. We have had times when we had something scheduled but were enjoying ourselves doing something else and decided not to go to the event. You will drive yourself crazy trying to stick to a schedule and you will miss out some relaxation and fun.

We have done it a few times. Back in the day when you could buy the Royal cooler filled with beer from the bar...Two or three coolers and the party started on the balconies!

Only problem with Wi-Fi calling is sometimes the delay can drive you crazy till you get used to it.

We haven't been on the Allure in a few years but the smoking side use to be on the Port side, as on most ships. We did see smoking on the Starboard side on one cruise, but I'll be dang it I can remember what ship it was now.

I was surprise they have Buffalo Trace at the Bar.
It’s always great when they do have it. Psycho’s favorite Bourbon

Haven't see any crown royal in the bars either since the re-start but they were selling it in the Merchant store. One cruse they had no Bourbon at the start and ran out before the end of the cruise.

On my next cruise I ordered the Unlimited dining package and 18% gratuities were added. I know the people take care of us work very hard but do you think I should keep my prepaid gratuities or Pay cash tips to my room steward and any one else that takes care of us?
We will do both if we feel someone went above and beyond to make our day, night or cruise special. There's nothing better than sitting down at a crowed bar and without say anything...Our favorite drinks appear in front of us.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites at 8000 Tartak St last time. Very nice rooms and friendly staff. Casino on the premises but we never stepped into it though.

Cruise Planner Purchases: When??

We use different fill colors on ours. Gray is the original or base price...Red when the price goes up and Green when the price drops. Blue is when we purchase it.
