We have to add B2B or SBS bookings to 7-nighters because they are just too short.  Once I pack to cruise and go through the airline/airport gauntlet I really need to cruise.  Oh the troubles of retirement.

I also really hate the move to shorty cruises but they are obviously doing everything they can to maximize the exposure to PDCC.  The 7 night Sat/Sun turnarounds leave gaping holes in PDCCs weekday schedule so they are going to stagger the 3/4/5 night itins to fill those holes during the weekdays.
Going to PDCC multiple times in a row is fine with me.  I don’t get off the ship anyway. …but having to embark and disembark OR just reprocess (if on B2B or more) multiple times is an enormous PITA.  I think many cruisers will quickly tire of this short-sighted (pun intended) plan. It may help them in the short term but I doubt it’s a real solution, long term. JMHO

As usual, everyone has their preferences. We're simple and boring. We did a 3/4 last year and enjoyed going to CocoCay twice and staying on the ship in Nassau (and that was on Indy). I'd do it again and it would only be better on Utopia/Wonder... but I need the prices to not be absurd.

Plus 2 more days of free internet between the 2 of us, 2 BOGO dinners, free laundry service, a free amenity gift on each sailing...
You don't have to see value in it. I sure do!

Paperweight at 210, lol, but yeah, I know 340 is huge for solos.
And agree on milestones. We're 2 points from D+. Obviously looking forward to that.

I once had a studio apartment that was smaller.  You will love it!  We are hooked on the owner's suite, unfortunately.  I would agree strongly with WAAAYTOOO, order a room service meal (or several).  We've only done so for breakfast, but even that is nice.  Yes, I'm sure we would have had better by going to one of the breakfast venues but it's nice to open that door and let them set the tray on your table before you've even gotten ready for your day.  Enjoy the other perks that come with the suite, as well, and have a great time!
