@twangster you really should think about making travel brochures, incredible pictures.  I was very hesitant about Costa Maya, I thought we would just stay on the ship in January, but WOW did you change my mind, now I'm looking forward to it so much!

Thank you so much @rjac, that seems VERY reasonable for 2 weeks? I will try them. As I said, hubby is pretty mobile, he still walks our 2 Golden Retrievers! He's just in alot of pain when he gets back. So worth it! and on Grandeur we are in a Grand Suite, so should have plenty of room if need be. I assume no matter which port they will deliver? We're dealing with Baltimore, Cape Liberty and Miami in the next 8 months. Thank you again so much!!

I have found that the doors on the average cabin are to small to get a wheelchair through but I have seen that many people park theres in the hallway yes it does cause a bit of a traffic jam at times but not that often I could see them causing a safety concern in emergency situations though I travel with my daughter occasionally who is wheelchair bound and have never had a problem except on the smaller ships with the very tight hallways I would suggest if you have questions that you call Royals access dept 866 592 7225 they have helped me many times in the past they have measurements for doors and have for me found accesable cabins when all other sources said there were none available also you will have to fill out a form describing the disability and special need you can list any special dietary needs ask about shore excursions etc for instance you can not use the tender boats where necessary to access ports unless the person in the wheelchair can transfer out of the chair to the tender which my daughter can not This dept has been a great help to me in the past and using them eliminates unpleasant suprises on your cruise

No I would think it does not. The interesting thing about these incidents though is how they are "not really newsworthy" as most of us didn't even hear about the bomb on the initial ferry explosion much less the the ones found Thursday. I'm glad to see RC and Carnival and hopefully Celebrity are stopping the ferry crossing excursions. They've had enough bad press with the accident awhile back. too.

Up until December, I thought Cozumel had the most brilliant blue water.  The water in Costa Maya is even one up on that.  I can't even describe it. ?

Anyone.  If there are high winds they will close access but other than that it's open to anyone onboard.

Matt  you seem to really like Nachi, we are looking at less crowds so is this something that is a good choice? I know alot of people go to Mr. Sanchos too but I like the idea of only 130 people at Nachi. Still considering a resort for a day too. 

I have no complaints on the VOOM - according to the speed test there wasn’t a ton of promise but aside from maybe some slower upload times it’s been perfectly sufficient! 

HI Suzanne, I"m trying to figure out the itinerary. You dock in Bayonne, RCCL provides a transfer to where in NYC? To Laguardia? What day of the week  do you dock? These are factors you need to consider.  If you are docking midweek, whew traffic is a nightmare getting to Laguardia, then going back to Manhattan?? I'm just trying to help you out if he won't change the hotel.
Can you change your flights from Newark perhaps? Then you you only dealing with a quick Uber to the hotel about $15.00, and lots of transporation available to get into NYC?

Why is it that every time you're on a ship, I start looking at their itinerary! HELP!!  Now instead of Freedom, I have to look at Liberty! LOL You make every cruise look better than the last one.
