# of ships at Coco Cay?

Cruising next summer on Oasis. Is there ever only ONE ship at a time at Coco Cay? I've received conflicting answers from RC. Is checking other RC itineraries the only way to determine how many ships will be docked on the same day?

Yes, there sometimes can be just one ship at CocoCay, but it's becoming rarer and rarer

Correct. Royal wont tell you which days have which ships

You can check the various port schedule websites to get this.

I use cruisemapper and check the ports tab to see the schedules.  Mind you…it is not always quite up to date but pretty close.

I’ve been to PDCC a couple of times with only one ship….its magical!!

Way back at the restart, Adventure there alone with only like 1000 people on board, stopping at Coco Cay.

Agreed. I was spoiled by Wonder repeatedly being there alone last year. That said, I’ve now been there twice in a row with two Oasis class ships (including this week) and it honestly wasn’t a big deal.

If you have a specific spot in mind to sit, just try to get off the ship on the early side. After that, nothing was so crowded that it really bothered me. It was just more peaceful being there alone.

@OCSC MikeI’ve been spoiled as well. If I’m thinking of booking an itinerary with PDCC, I try and time it with being the only ship there. If I can’t, I try to at leave have one giant ship and one smaller one. But I agree….even with 2 Oasis class ships there, it’s not like it’s a miserable place to be. I can think of many worse places with much worse crowds with very little effort!

That's what we do. Get off early, enjoy our time, eat lunch, then go back to the ship just as the island is reaching its peak population

I like the planning. My cruise slots aren’t that flexible so I get what I get. Going there a bunch over the next couple years on 3/4 B2B’s… think I have almost every class covered to share the island with at one point or another.

The Cruise Legend app provides information on what ships are in what port on any given day including Coco Cay.

Even with 2 Icon ships there, as long as you're where you want to be by 10am or so, you'll have no issues.

Too many people want to sleep in and/or wait until it's the midday sun to go out.

I was just there April 8th on utopia and the liberty was there as well. I looks like there is only room for 2 ships at the dock. BUT good news, even with two ships, hideaway was not too crowded at all. Perfect amount of people and chairs!

Our first cruise to Coco Cay on Oasis we were the only ship that day and we were spoiled. We didn't know this would be the case until we got there.

Our first ever visit to CocoCay was on Adventure during the restart.  It’s hard to not reminisce about the good old days on CocoCay
