Jerry228 Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 Is there no Royal Night on the Harmony of the Seas 7-night Caribbean cruise? I'm planning specialty dining and want to know which night main dinning offers lobster. I checked a past Cruise Compass and didn't see it—does this mean no lobster night unless you pay extra? Quote
Pooch Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 Royal night is USUALLY the second to the last night of a cruise so on a 7 night, it would be night 6. Ryan79 1 Quote

Zenra Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 I would recommend checking in the app under the Main Dining and selecting the different nights (it's probably on Night 6) and it should tell you the menu for each day. FWIW last week on Wonder 7N, night 6 was Royal Night. Quote
smokeybandit Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 For North American-based cruises, and short of the 2nd to the last night being a major holiday, Royal Night will always be night 6 on 7 night cruises. Quote
need2cruz Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 It doesn't have to be a major holiday to change it. I've cruised before over Valentines Day and that changed the Lobster night. Nonetheless, it's usually (but not always) night 6 on a 7 night cruise. Quote
Lizzie2024 Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 Our upcoming 8 night Hawaiian Cruise shows Royal Night Menu on Day 6, but NO lobster Entree Quote

barjpoe Posted March 12 Report Posted March 12 Of course Royal will be saving a lot of lobster tails on the new short cruises on Oasis class ships. WAAAYTOOO and Ryan79 1 1 Quote
Pooch Posted March 12 Report Posted March 12 Yeah frozen lobster tail isn’t very good anyway. There’s a reason why they drown it in butter. Ampurp85 1 Quote
Smokey79 Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 My father just got off Independence and was quite vocal about the poor quality of the add-on lobster tails he had while on board. Quote
Ryan79 Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 Anyone who gets excited about the lobster offerings on RC cruise these days is in for a disappointment! They are small, tough, chewy, and not flavorful at all. barjpoe and Pooch 2 Quote
barjpoe Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 I have stopped ordering them on Taste of Royal Night. Quote
Pooch Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 If you live in an area that doesn’t have easy access to fresh lobster, I’m sure the tails are fine. But if you live in New England, Atlantic Canada they are a poor substitute for the real thing. Rackham and barjpoe 1 1 Quote

Jerry228 Posted March 18 Author Report Posted March 18 Thanks! It's Day 6 on the app. I was confused because the Feb 16 compass showed Day 6 as India Night, and didn't see a Royal Night listed there.
