tingtang
Is there a "white night" on Icon? I looked at the cruise compass and did a cursory search here, but I didn't find an answer. I did see that "dress your best is days are 2 & 6 and "Caribbean" is day 4. TIA.
smokeybandit
There's always a white night, but barely anyone participates. tingtang and RCIfan1912 1

Ryan79
I’ve NEVER been out and about on a ship and said to myself “It must be White Night!”. Participation is minimal tingtang and Baked Alaska
DoomSlayer
I think they use White Night to prank people. On my last trip, White Night corresponded with Italian night in the MDR. Saw quite a lot of people that dressed up with red stains after dinner. Ryan79, tingtang, CrimsonCruiser and 3 others 5
smokeybandit
Caribbean night gets the most participation. It's noticeable in the MDR and across the ship at night. 70s night gets some participation, but that could be that it's so easy to spot people in 70s attire (to include afro wigs). The rest? You may not know there was a theme that night. DoomSlayer and tingtang
ChessE4
On one cruise white night was also dress your best, so MDR had many tables radiant in white. tingtang
xps15z
Pre-covid white nights on Oasis class ships was always a popular event. I only can sail in the summer as I won't take my kids out of school for a vacation. So it could be participation was high during the summer months. I don't recall there being a white party post-covid on the sailings I been on. I wear all white in general in the summer so it's no biggie either way for me. Caribbean night doesn't make sense because it's a cruise..so generally people are going to wear Caribbean outfits on at least 2 of their sailing days. tingtang

There was one large group of folks (25ish) who where all dressed in white for a photo op at the Pearl.
barjpoe
Just looked at past CC and saw that Day 6 was Dress your Best / White Attire on a couple of them. So that maybe the night.
Pattycruise Posted yesterday at 09:32 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:32 AM Wow, I’ve seen white night a number of sailings. i think it’s a shame that Royal doesn’t send out an email with the themes ahead of time. Almost every FB group for my sailings people are asking about white night, 70’s party and tropical. Now 80’s has been thrown in the mix and some ships have 50’s/60’s. I packed as well as purchased (in Hawaii for my Hawaii cruise)) tropical clothes and wouldn’t you know, Alaska does not have a tropical night! but they do have a white night and a 70’s party. I’m good to go for those!
