RCIFanatic
Anyone have any experience with requesting for the line of credit on board and how easy is it to have it granted for one cruise and the subsequent cruises? If there are any casino winnings, can they wire back to a bank account the surplus at the end of the cruise? Alternatively, can we wire funds into the casino prior to embarkation? RCIFanatic
Just an FYI if anyone else is interested. Spoke with a few casino Royale reps and it’s clear not every rep is familiar with these policies or “features”. With the one rep that was more knowledgeable they were able to direct me to the following: Line of credit application (minimum 10k request): https://www.nccreports.com/application/?royalcaribbean The line of credit will take approximately 2 weeks to receive a decision from application submission. Have to reapply for every cruise. Wire transfer (no minimum): https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/casino-wire-transfers The rep said it could take as long as 3-4 weeks for the wire to be received. At the end of the cruise, any monies not used will be returned via a wire transfer back to your original bank account provided. Any casino winnings over the original amount wired, will have to be sent as a separate wire transfer. I have never even looked into it....absolutely no need since I am not a big $$ gambler.
Ampurp85
This is great info......for other folks I pay my card balance off each month and prefer to charge against my onboard account so I wouldn't have need of this, especially since the minimum amount is $10k. RCIFanatic
Yeah, the easier alternative is to charge up to 5k/day on your onboard account for a 5% fee (fee waived if you have prime status). It’s also nice to be able to wire your winnings back though so you don’t have to carry any or much cash on board or off the cruise
Pooch
Wow, it’s clear I am NOT a gambler! $10,000? $5,000? TessFromFlorida

We know less than nothing about table games, slightly more about slots, and generally buy Powerball & other Lotto tickets for their value as bookmarks cuz we sure as hell don't win anything. That said, a tip of the hat to Wonder's penny slots when we sailed. Donated $50 between us to the bottom line and came out ahead $6.41. Diamond Jim and Jenny we ain't.......... (but was a fun hour or so). ChessE4 and Pooch 1

All these folks talking about their 'free' casino cruises and then finding out they are dropping 5-10k in the Casino lol. No judgement, if thats your entertainment and how you roll good on you........I just wouldn't consider those cruises free.
Ampurp85
Ha, I don't consider any casino cruise free. I only play what I would spend to purchase a cruise as gambling is my entertainment. Thats why I said this credit line/wire is not for me. I usually budget $100/day and a max of $2500 to make prime as that is a reasonable number for two cruises for two pax. I also only play slots. new2cruzing
Reading this thread makes me feel like the young kid on my 21st birthday who plays the $1-$20 Huge wheel of NON-fortune. I enjoy games of chance but $10K is juuuust a little too rich for my blood .

Unless you’re the lady that won 25k on lucky ladies on my recent sailing lol. She’s free rolling for at least a few cruises

My co-worker won $60k on table games but he was betting $1k hands and was down over $30k. It is all about perspective. Pooch

But I gamble very little and my draws on my Seapass card are $200-$300 for gambling. If at all. You can bring always bring cash and put in your safe when not using. It is all about perspective. Certainly true. I believe she was down about 3-4K when she hit that, but nonetheless who knows what her net winnings were on the last few days after she hit the lucky ladies Either way, I’m not here to promote gambling or any way insinuate we can game Royal Caribbean’s casino loyalty program to gain “free” or “discounted” cruises. In the end, the house, Royal Caribbean in this case, always wins. If you gamble long enough in the casino, you will lose. Casino is just a form of entertainment and anyone gambling should be prepared to only gamble with what they can afford to lose. When I win a decent amount of cash, I normally just pay my balance with it at guest services. I have twice this year had faulty room safes and no matter how many times I went to GS, they never fixed them.
Gilley
Is there a player card that you have to put in the machine to earn points like in the casinos or do you use your sea pass. Also if using your sea pass can you also use cash. I’m not a big gambler but if I should win anything I want to make sure I get the points I deserve. Did you at least get some free OBC out of it? 1 hour ago, Gilley said: Is there a player card that you have to put in the machine to earn points like in the casinos or do you use your sea pass. You would use your sea pass card to both accumulate the points and/or to charge your casino play. You may also use cash if you prefer. On slot machines, you will insert your card to earn points. At the table games, you will pass your sea pass card to the dealer and the pit boss will track your play. Linda R
