Same here. I had to reset password, now I can't log in via the app. Website works. So frustrating.

Ovation and Quantum both have the outdoor seating at the Windjammer. I haven't been on the others so will defer to others with 1st hand knowledge.

Likewise, we had our pictures taken at Chops on Ovation in May 2023 and the 3 pics were included with our photo package, go figure.

On an interesting note. I did find out that Club Royale has rooms available that are not listed on any of the general travel websites I saw anywhere. I had called to inquire about the upgrade cost of a balcony room (2D)to be closer to another couple we convinced to go on their 1st cruise (Int GTY) after their cabin was assigned. To my surprise, the CR rep started giving me multiple options of rooms that weren't listed as available in the same category I was already in so no upgrade was needed. We ended up in the cabin right next to the one I was willing to pay to upgrade to so it was a pleasant surprise to say the least.

This sounds like a shill posting from RCL. NO CHARGE for pizza, period.

Maybe it was available earlier in the year. I was on Ovation in Sep 22 and it wasn't on the menu by then. Anyhow, I'll chalk this up to another one of RCL's many mysteries in how decisions are made, lol.

Alrighty then, I'll see if maybe bad quality is a reason it's not available across the fleet by trying it on my next cruise. Anyhow, thanks for the food review from the Navigator.

You can pick it up at any specialty coffee venue (except Starbucks) upon boarding. They all have a printed list of cabins that purchased the card, just tell them your cabin number and you're good to go.

Reading this thread makes me feel like the young kid on my 21st birthday who plays the $1-$20 Huge wheel of NON-fortune. I enjoy games of chance but $10K is juuuust a little too rich for my blood .

@twangster You should give it a shot, I guarantee it's nothing like you've had before with the dry packages .

Lol, well, at least we know it used to be available on the quantum ships. I don't think any of us here will know why it's gone but still available on all other ships. If you haven't tried ramen in a restaurant, I highly recommend giving it a shot, it's nothing like the old college staple that we all remember and some still buy at Costco . Fresh ramen is served al dente and the soup is much better.

I follow the logic of ramen not being served in a sushi restaurant. But it doesn't explain WHY only Quantum class ships (4 out of 5) don't have it. If the argument is it's not popular, then why is it served across the rest of the fleet?

Thanks for the confirmation. Now I just keep wondering WHY? It can't be a facility or supplier issue.

For Ovation at least, I know it's not a glitch. Can confirm Izumi does not serve ramen. Maybe others can chime in based on their own experience with other Quantum ships.

Hey all, just curious if anyone has noticed that with the exception of Spectrum, none of the other Izumi Sushi restaurants on Quantum class offers Ramen or Yaki Udon. I recently sailed on Ovation OTS and noticed it wasn't on their menu, so using the app, checked other ships and surprise, all other classes have it on the menu. Just wondering since Ramen is something I would love to have on a cool, cloudy day at sea but can't figure out why it's not available on Ovation. "Rant over"

I'm on the Alaska sailing on Ovation after you arrive in Vancouver from your 28-day TP (I'm jealous!). No dining packages of any kind showing yet for my cruise either, everything is ala carte.

Thanks to all for the input. @WAAAYTOOO You are correct, I booked using a comp cert from my last cruise but since none of the comps were for the sailing I wanted, I traded it in for $500 off. I confirmed rate with the casino royale rep and it matched what was listed on the 3rd party sites. I won't hold my breath but she did confirm I could reprice if it ever came down.

Thanks. I did call and the rep I spoke with sounded confident that the answer is Yes. She said the same rule applies up until final payment date. I'll test those waters if the price does come down.

HI All, as the title is asking, this is my 1st Casino Royale certificate and I want to book before it expires. My only fear is if the price for the cabin category goes down, will I be able to reprice and still keep the discount from the trade in certificate? Thanks in advance.

Booked our 100 photo package in Jan for $136.99, saw this thread and checked again, now listed ON SALE for $299.99, $100 more than the original FULL PRICE . Maybe Royal is trying to recoup all of their losses from 2020-2022 in 1 year??

Yes, both Ovation and Quantum are homeported from Smith Cove Pier 91 for the summer AK season.

@deep1 - The Port of Seattle at Smith Cove and SeaTac airport are the same entity. They offer a great free program called port valet that basically takes your baggage from the ship and checks them into your flight for FREE. You can find more information on their site here - Explore Seattle Luggage Free with Port Valet | Port of Seattle (portseattle.org) It's limited to these 6 airlines so if you're flying out on any of them, this may be an option for you. On Ovation last year we were assigned cabin 9146 (Awesome GTY rate), which was the left side room of the 2 connecting and the bed was next to the balcony. Good thing was both us and the cabin next to us were quiet adults and not a peep was heard during the entire cruise. Hope this helps.

FYI, you can reserve the free port day slots once onboard and connected to the ship's wifi. You don't need an internet package for this. I did that on Ovation last year and will do it again in May
