  1. I have CP and am in a wheelchair mostly full time now and since co-vid my mother and I have found that there are very few handicap excursions to the point she started looking at outside providers. We sail from Fla
  2. nothing you want something at night say after 9PM you can pay for it or if you are on a ship with a promende that could sill be free 0600 to 2100 or 2200 is plenty of time for free food if in fact that wanted to start charging after that.
  3. I know, but if they want to consider starting to charge those may be good options. It will allow them to make some money back on a popular item while giving people a "free" option to still have that item if they do not want to or are not willing to pay for it.
  4. I started a thread about a possible middle ground to this here https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/42532-charging-for-the-pizza-possible-middle-ground/ Charge at certain times or even and this JUST came to me for certain pizzas, but have it free between X and Y time they do that both with room service and on certain ships with Johnny Rockets as well. Heck even in the MDR they have a few items that are extra.
  5. Are these real ideas ( honest questions as some of them it is hard to tell the e-muster and tender boats mostly.
  6. What if they treated it like room service or Johnny Rockets on the Oasis class where they only charged before or after a certain time? Since it is one of the few or only options opened late what if they said between 10AM and 9PM ( for example)it is free, BUT if you want it at 11 at night you have to pay for it or even the other way where it is only free during "off hours" say from 9PM until closing ( since most people even though it is one of the only late night options would be getting it during the day). This way they could still charge, while at the same time still having free pizza during certain times (either during peek times or during not so peek times where if you want something late night you have to pay for it, but it would be free for meals. This may be a good "middle ground" and it is not as if they do not already do this with certain other food options so it would not be completely new. They may could either instead or in addition charge for certain pizzas if you wanted say cheese pizza or another "basic pizza" it would be free, but if you wanted say a speciality pizza you would have to pay or what about you get your first one or two slices for free after that you pay would also serve as a way to cut down on waste. Way that could work is either only two free slices at a time or two free slices within a certain period of time say two free slices per six hour period.
  7. Wait is this one sold out I heard that it was the Dec 11th one (in which case our cruise would not be affected.
  8. They just have to remember that if they do that they will lose certain cruisers too either because they like the smaller ships and/or because there are certain ports that cannot handle those large ships, so you have people that will take their business elsewhere if you do not offer small ships.
  9. If the puzzle break room on Wonder is wheelchair accessible? For all intents and purposes I am a full time wheelchair user on the ship. I walk around in my home, but can no longer walk outside my home without major assistance I have a moderate case of CP and my ability to walk independently has declined such over the years in public major assistance or a wheelchair is my only option . I am going on the New Year's Eve cruise on Wonder and signed up for the puzzle break room only for my mom to remind me that I needed to ensure it was accessible as the one on MTS is not I was very disappointed about this and so to avoid that again we decided it best to check. I looked online and cannot find an answer. It is my mom, sister, her, fiancee and myself going
  10. Masks have been optional for guests for quite a while. We went on MTS in June and only the crew was required to wear them very few guests did. I am however both vaxed, boosted and have had this year's flu shot for ours on New Year's Eve.
  11. I am going on a New Year's Eve cruise and noticed that the sushi class is back in the cruise planner, We are going on Wonder.
  12. I am in a wheelchair in public the vast majority of the time in public due to poor mobility as a result of a moderate case of cerebral palsy. My mom and I have noticed that in recent years ( we started cruising in 16) that there are not really any accessible excursions offered through RC ( especially for those of us who cannot make steps to get up on transportation and need assistance to take even a very few steps on uneven surfaces. Has anyone had any experience with this? We are going on a cruise on New Year's Eve and mom says this will likely be our last one which I am really sad about part of it is the cost, but the bigger part is probably the lack of accessible excursions. We would not be going on this one except that mom was not going to waste our FCC. Anyone else have this problem or know how to get a fire under their butt to do something.
