  1. Wow, that's extremely tight! Do you mind if I ask where you heard about that? The only time they can get away with this would be in between sailings as sometimes they cut off access to the casino once it closes on the last night of a sailing. Usually guests are free to roam throughout the casino and it would be quite obvious if slot techs are adjusting every machine between the inaugural and the next sailing
  2. I have not done it myself yet, but I confirmed multiple times that you will not be charged the 5% fee for withdrawing from the cage. It will also count as a regular purchase and NOT a cash advance. I won't be on Icon until July on a B2B so I'd love to hear back from you in March!
  3. Has anyone sailed on Icon recently and could give us some feedback in regards to the software in the casino? Is it similar/same as the one on Wonder? By the way, you can technically charge 10k per day. 5k at the tables and then another 5k at the cashier (with a different credit card). Just FYI if there are any high rollers looking for a larger credit available to them.
  4. Does anyone have similar offers like below? I have a few of these and some of these offers expired already. I can't find any information about the slot tournament series but I assume it's a rather large prize pool and free entry? Are participants in these tournaments only limited to those that receive the offer or is it available anyone and everyone in the casino during the tournament?
  5. I heard there will be a couple of changes this upcoming March. There might be a higher instant crusie certificate above the 25k grand suite offer. Cruises have increased in price dramatically which means these cruise offers are more valuable than ever before. So it's only a matter of time before they revamp the system and increase the tier thresholds which obviously sucks for all of us casino cruisers!
  6. Not even if there’s an upgrade paid or additional passenger paid on the reservation?
  7. Can we still receive the $50-$250 OBC from the shareholder’s benefit on casino comped cruises? I’m assuming no, but just wanted to make sure.
  8. Just to elaborate on @AshleyDillo’s post, solo travellers get rewarded C&A points in the following manner: Non-suites: 2 points Suites: 3 points Unfortunately, it’s not double points as I would have originally suspected. See my thread here:
  9. Ah okay. Thanks for the information. What’s the best $ off that can be offered via myVegas? Wondering if it’s worth getting the app.
  10. Interesting.. I’ll have to look into these myVegas offers. What constitutes a regular booking? One directly online and not through the casino reservation?
  11. Ah that’s unfortunate. Especially since the higher tier offers have a pretty hefty free play attached to them. Oh really? I thought I have read past posts where patrons have been able to combine interior + balcony for JS or something similar?
  12. Yes, I’ve experienced the same when I was asking for upgrades as well and it seemed like it was just the difference between the 2 rooms based on online prices as opposed to the special casino rate for the respective rooms. Just to clarify, as I was on the phone, I quoted an interior and balcony room with the casino rep whIle simultaneously making a mock booking and my mock booking (at a choose your room rate) was cheaper than the discounted casino room rate they quoted me which didn’t make any sense. When I inquired about this, this is when they disclosed how the rates are calculated with the 5% and 10% discount for the respective status tiers. I told them this didn’t make any sense and they basically had no idea why that was the case. I further inquired if this was always the case that the casino room rates were the online rates with a 5% or 10% discount and they said yes this has always been the case as far as the casino rep knew. I called just now because I wanted clarification on the casino room rate and they said if it’s a booking for yourself, there is a discount which is based on your casino play from your most recent cruise. This discount is a fixed $ amount for any bookings up to March 2024 sailings. This $ discount can change since it is based off of your most recent cruise. A casino certificate’s trade in value can be applied here as well. I assume any free play on the certificate is lost if used as trade in value?
  13. I called the casino reservation line recently to book an additional room for friends and was given a rate that was higher than the pick your room rate if I booked it myself. They advised me the discount for prime members is 5% and signature and masters is 10%. Even then, this didn’t make much sense as the rate they provided me was after the supposed discount. I was under the impression that the casino room rates weren’t as simple as a 5% or 10% off the on-going online rate, but a secret sauce formula . Or is this only the case when I’m booking an additional suite for friends and/or family? And instead the casino room secret sauce rates only apply to club Royale members booking a cabin for themselves? Also was wondering, if I don’t like any of the sailings offered, can I book a different cruise via casino reservation for the casino room rate and apply multiple certificates (that have trade in values of course) to the same reservation? Or can I only apply one certificate per cruise? To get the most value (+OBC), could I do an open booking or regular booking with next cruise and then call the casino reservation line to book or change the sailing to get the casino room rate then apply the certificates?
  14. Oh jeez.. Did you at least get some free OBC out of it? You would use your sea pass card to both accumulate the points and/or to charge your casino play. You may also use cash if you prefer. On slot machines, you will insert your card to earn points. At the table games, you will pass your sea pass card to the dealer and the pit boss will track your play.
