If there are any casino winnings, can they wire back to a bank account the surplus at the end of the cruise? Alternatively, can we wire funds into the casino prior to embarkation? Spoke with a few casino Royale reps and it’s clear not every rep is familiar with these policies or “features”. With the one rep that was more knowledgeable they were able to direct me to the following: Line of credit application (minimum 10k request): https://www.nccreports.com/application/?royalcaribbean The line of credit will take approximately 2 weeks to receive a decision from application submission. Have to reapply for every cruise. Wire transfer (no minimum): https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/casino-wire-transfers The rep said it could take as long as 3-4 weeks for the wire to be received.At the end of the cruise, any monies not used will be returned via a wire transfer back to your original bank account provided. Any casino winnings over the original amount wired, will have to be sent as a separate wire transfer. Ampurp85 Posted June 18, 2023 Report Share Posted June 18, 2023 This is great info......for other folks I pay my card balance off each month and prefer to charge against my onboard account so I wouldn't have need of this, especially since the minimum amount is $10k. RCIFanatic Posted June 19, 2023 Author Report Share Posted June 19, 2023 Yeah, the easier alternative is to charge up to 5k/day on your onboard account for a 5% fee (fee waived if you have prime status). Thats why I said this credit line/wire is not for me. I usually budget $100/day and a max of $2500 to make prime as that is a reasonable number for two cruises for two pax. I also only play slots. I believe she was down about 3-4K when she hit that, but nonetheless who knows what her net winnings were on the last few days after she hit the lucky ladies Either way, I’m not here to promote gambling or any way insinuate we can game Royal Caribbean’s casino loyalty program to gain “free” or “discounted” cruises. In the end, the house, Royal Caribbean in this case, always wins. If you gamble long enough in the casino, you will lose. Casino is just a form of entertainment and anyone gambling should be prepared to only gamble with what they can afford to lose. Also if using your sea pass can you also use cash. I’m not a big gambler but if I should win anything I want to make sure I get the points I deserve. You would use your sea pass card to both accumulate the points and/or to charge your casino play. You may also use cash if you prefer. On slot machines, you will insert your card to earn points.
