Jen Hancock
On our upcoming cruise, there is one day that we think we’ll just poke around Naples, grab some pizza, and reboard in early afternoon. will we be able to use any onboard amenities (pool, restaurant, Kid zone, etc?) while in port? cedricmr
Yes, of course, the whole boat is available for you, everything works. There are many passengers who never descend
ScottD
Sometimes certain things like the shops and casinos are closed in port, but the pools and most food is still available.
twangster
You can find cruise compass from various ships here: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/cruise-compass That may help you identify when things like water slides open on port days. octaviocloss
In ports like Nassau we hardly ever descend.. Staying in the ship while in port could be a huge dub, empty ship just for you, flowrider and slides without lines, pool chairs availability; empty solarium, a lot of room in the windjammer; who doesnt love that haha! smokeybandit
There's more people than you'd probably think who never get off at any port. OCSC Mike and WAAAYTOOO

Even so, enough people get off that the venues are much less crowded. Maybe not as much less crowded as you might think, but still very noticeable.
