Gisser
Would appreciate everyone's opinion on the earliest flight time I should book for a return trip home from Orlando airport after disembarking at Port Canaveral. Thanks!

smokeybandit
I have a 2pm flight tomorrow out of Orlando and expect about 3.5 hours of sitting around. WAAAYTOOO
lkg276
I drive Uber and Lyft several times a week from Port Canaveral to MCO/Orlando the trip takes 45 minutes from pick up to the curb at MCO. Time variables would be a traffic accident on the beachline or long TSA lines. Usually TSA moves quick that timeof the morning. Ryan79
I wouldn’t test the travel Gods by booking a flight before noon. Sure you might be OK with say an 11am flight, but why stress yourself out worrying about everything going perfect on disembarkation day? Ampurp85
I echo noon, I have never had a Lyft/Uber Driver like @lkg276 get me to MCO in less than 50min. Then the lies are usually pretty bad no matter when traveling out of MCO. Sweety

Part of our traveling party needs to arrange transport directly from the port to MCO (we all have an 11:45 am flight) as they need to make separate arrangements (our friend's small SUV is too small for 5 people and all that luggage!). Also, what time do you think is safe to get there by (11:45 am flight once again)? 9:30? 10:00?

Walk out, see the sign for Goport and walk down the aisle to the end where they have a kiosk. Board, then wait for it to fill, then it leaves. Then another replaces it to repeat the process. Yesterday we were one of the last ones on, so we didn't wait but 5 minutes before it left. I have limited experience with Orlando airport, but just from one day's experience (Frontier's bag tag kiosks weren't working right and I had to wait in line just to get tags) I'd want to be out at the bus by 8am just to give you airport buffer. Others with more experience in Orlando may be able to find tune that recommendation. Cactus527 and JohnK6404
