tonyfsu21
Royal Up is a hot topic and it might be beneficial to post screenshots of past wins/losses to assist others who may be interested in bidding but don’t have a baseline. Obviously this would be data from past cruises so as to not expose any bids on future sailings you may have. I will start with a win and a loss. Oasis 12/26/21 was a holiday sailing where we were booked in a JS. The 4/12/20 was a GS 1br win from a JS. smokeybandit
I just got the RU email and I'm shocked how low minimum bids are. GS to GT on Mariner for a 5 night is only $70pp Granted, it'll require a cancellation to win that RU since this will be a full ship tonyfsu21, PPPJJ-GCVAB and WAAAYTOOO 1
OCSC Mike
There are so many variables from one cruise to another (ship, date, how full it was, how much you initially paid, etc.) that anecdotal past results aren't going to be very helpful with future bidding. That said, go for it. CruiseGus
Swar
When I was at band camp... I generally bid @$5 over minimum. I have won most of the RU bids @8/10. over the last year Of course that was low occupancy sailing times. I am getting a lot of Club Royale upgrades for my wife and I. We combine the offers, when we can, and end up with Junior Suites and some free play.
smokeybandit
I'm one for one in my RU history. Got a GT up from a GS. The GT didn't open up until like two weeks before the cruise. We board, and the room has all sorts of medical equipment prestaged. I sadly wondered if someone on the previous reservation was suddenly no longer with us.
